This is Adam's voice, he doesnt need autotune, the man has a four octave range.

such a great voice. disappointing he never received the mainstream success of many far less talented performers.

What are you talking about!? He's currently and has been for YEARS the lead singer of Queen!!! The greatest rock band of all time. He's the only band approved replacement of Freddy Mercury. He's been touring with them constantly for years 😂 Yeah nobody really liked his solo stuff. It's not great. But he's doing fine

From what I've heard, he's HUGE overseas, particularly in Japan and Australia. He was a judge on the Australian X-Factor for years.

The industry isn't limited to the US. Even in the US his first five solo albums hit the Billboard Top 10 with _Trespassing_ debuting at #1. _For Your Entertainment_ would have hit #1 too if it wasn't for Susan Boyle's first album dropping on the same day.

This man is better live than on recordings which is so rare in the music industry. Live he is amazing both in his solo work and with Queen. You mentioned trained....yes since he was 10. Musical theater career before solo career.

He is known for not using any autotune, he doesn't need it. He is phenomenal!!! Thank you so much for your amazing analysis!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰

I live near Houston TX which is very diverse & plays all kinds of singers on the radio but not Adam & I think it's bc he didn't hide that he was gay. The stations have surely played the hell out of Elton John, George Michael, Lil Nas X, etc. The only difference is that they all kept it a secret til they were famous Adam did not, he owned it & gets punished for his honesty.😢

Adam has a full pallet of colors in his vocal abilities and he knows how to use them and especially where to apply them. Thank you for the reaction and pointing out his abilities from a vocalists point of view!

You should check out Adam Lambert singing Nessun Dorma in Bologna, Italy in Italian, acapella as a gift for the Italian people. He was warming up with it and Brian May hear him and asked if he could sing it on stage; he said yes. Adam told Jennifer Hudson that he took one year of opera in high school even though the didn't want to be an opera singer, but he felt it was like ballet is the foundation of dance, that opera is the foundation of music. Adam just got back from China where he competed in a show called, "Singer", he ended up #1 on all the Chinese charts. The show, Singer, wanted to make it more real so they said no auto tuning or other mechanical devices to help the vocals of the singers so a lot of stars refused to participate, not Adam. Although, I can't imagine Dr./Sir Brian May ever working with a vocalist that needed machines to make their voice sound like they could actually sing.

He sounds even better live. If he's performing at a smaller venue, you can feel his voice vibrate thru you. If you haven't seen him sing Who Wants to Live Forever with Queen at the Isle of Wight, I highly suggest you do. One of his best emotional performances live.

Love this analysis. Adam never uses autotune, just FYI. He doesn't have to. And this is one of his "Live Sessions" that he did for Velvet since he was unable to do a promotional tour for the album.

Thank you for pointing out all of the different techniques Adam uses. I know nothing about the technical aspects of singing. I just know what I like and Adam Lambert is my favorite.

Adam is simply magnificent.

I wish Adam can listen to ur opinion analysis.....is great to see how can someone like u analyze his voice and be amazed by it. everyone likes to be recognized by others.... especially if it is good feed back.😮 I wish he gets to see this.❤❤❤❤

Thank you for sharing your analysis of what on earth Adam is doing create the different textures and colours in his singing. I don't understand a lot of it, but I really enjoy hearing your explanations of why the same phrase, same notes can sound so different. Repetition is a mainstay in most songs, so making subtle changes each time to keep it interesting is absolutely fascinating.

If you ever get to see him live, please do so. HE IS STUNNING LIVE.

Он великолепен в озвучке мультиков и создает собственную музыку, причем в разных жанрах. Он непредсказуем и всегда интересно, что ж он будет делать дальше.

I have been to 2 of his solo concerts and 1 with Queen and he's amazing! His solo concerts are great too.

Adam pushes out his tongue when he puts high extended notes to produce more forward sound. Maybe that's what you are hearing when you ask where he's placing his vowel. He was famous for his tongue back in his Idol days.
