Kiss dropped them cause they couldn’t keep up. My uncle saw them in Indianapolis. Angus was one of the first guitarists to use a wireless rig, Bon carried Angus around the upper deck of market square arena on his shoulders. I would have loved to see that.

Absolutely. Listen to the lyrics between the 2 and it baby rhymes kiss put on paper. Bons lyrics were way too advanced for kiss. Totally different class.

Kiss can't hold a candle to AC/DC, and Bon Scott one of the best front mans ever !!!!!

Hard to believe that this was filmed in 1978. Such an amazing and influential band. So many fantastic songs from these guys.

No one can ever beat Bon Scott (the singer) RIP.

Best band ever

This is when AC DC rocked real hard. I saw them live this year (1978) at The Palladium in NYC. My friend Joe caught Angus Young's shirt. It was great.

I'm really surprised you don't know more about Angus and AC/DC, especially since they still have the highest selling hard rock album, Back in Black, of all time. Would love to see more reactions from you on them.

Yup, Angus ALWAYS wears a school boy uniform. When the band 1st started, he was still in school and sometimes didn’t have time to go home and change so he adopted the look into his stage look. I’m glad you’re playing some older AC/DC when Bon Scott was still alive.

Killer track from the album If You Want Blood 1978. Acdc live always. Angus always has worn that schoolboy outfit. Great guitarist. Never stands still.🤟🤟.

The legs pumping and the head bobbing is him keeping time.

A man from the U.K. not knowing something like AC/DC is like an American not knowing someone like Johnny Cash. It baffles me. Maybe I'm just getting old 😕😂

Bon Scott and AC/DC were the anthems of my youth here in the states...high school in southern Indiana 77 to 81...they were rock gods to us..blasted in the football locker room. ..cruising, drinking beer, some weed, looking for ladies...ahhh the good ole days!

When AC/DC started out Angus was so young he used to come to band practice still in his school uniform so as he got older they decided to keep it.

They used to have family come to see them in Glasgow and Edinburgh so it was like a home-coming.

Bon Scott, the front-mans frontman and Angus were legendary…even to a slow track like this :)

Bon Scott rules! The live album with Bon...IF YOU WANT BLOOD. Is awesome....we wore it out back in the day...cruising, drinking beer, some weed, looking for the ladies.

Bon sounds so incredible. Just awesome.

Angus still plays the same today at 70 years old, as he did back in this in 1978 you get what you pay for when you go to AC/DC concert never felt ripped off from an AC/DC show.

You found their best concert in my opinion, my brother use to go to the video shop in Australia in the 80s, he was the record holder for hiring it the most, this concert never gets old.

That is because Angus's teacher claimed he would never amount to anything....School Uniform is in "honor" to that Teacher..

love me some ac/dc I grew up listening to them- bon Scott (rip) I prefer- but Brian Johnson (current)singer fit right in after the death of bon! and yes, Angus Young (guitarist) is always moving! keep em coming!!

About that schoolboy uniform: In the early days, Angus dressed in all sorts of weird and wonderful outfits as a gimmick. The school uniform was the most popular, so he stuck with it.

What was in Angus's backpack was the first wireless setup for guitar. Everyone thought he was magic or something. But Angus is magic. After all!

this was their absolute pinnacle where they honed their craft to the best it got to. They rode that IMO through the Flick of the Switch album and then it declined slightly with some periodic Gems in between. But, this their finest moment

He failed to realize how young he was he was 15 when they started he would run from school to play in the band he was a teenager here

In the 1960's there was an Australian band called the Easybeats. Created by a bunch of friends who lived at Villawood Migrant centre in Sydney, after emigrating to Oz from Scotland, England, the Netherlands etc. In the Easybeats was a guy called George Young. Once the Easybeats gained some success, George would buy guitars and bring them home for his younger brothers Malcolm & Angus. The younger boys spent countless hours playing, learning, honing the craft. Youngest Angus was clearly naturally talented. The older boys would play him a song on the radio or record player & say "play that." Chuck Berry, Rolling Stones, Beatles etc. Angus would practice for 20 minutes & then come back & play the entire song, note for note perfect. Malcolm & Angus would then go on & form their own band: AC/DC.

It was the uniform that Angus himself wore. He played his guitar in it after he got home from school, and his sister thought he looked cute in it.

I’ve heard Angus sits cross legged on a stool warming up on his guitar, sipping tea, until they give him the “5 minute” cue. Once the lights come up he’s all action.

When angus was in school, he would rush home to play guitar and was in his school boy uniform all the time. so when they started, his sister suggested that he wear his uniform on stage. she made his uniforms and when they were looking for a name she suggested AC/DC since it said it on the sewing machine. When Angus puts on that uniform he said it's like clark kent dressing up as superman. it has a special power, that and all of the caffeinated tea and chocolate bars he eats. lol

When all the other's have played themselves out , AC/DC was just getting started. Bon knew Angus was gonna steal the show every night, but he had to take it off him 1st.

So many great songs from AC/DC and Angus Young has always been so much fun to watch play. Anything from live at River Platte is great but I really love For Those About to Rock. Angus's school uniform has always been his costume and he's usually down to just his shorts by the end of the show. He would come to band practice after school and his if I remember right it was his sister's suggestion that he wear it for their shows. His brother Malcolm Young (rip) was their rhythm guitar player and he was the visionary for the group. It was his idea for the cannons behind the group for the song For Those About to Rock and most of their videos according to an interview I saw with Angus and Brian.

Started listening to these guys when I was 16. I'm 61 and still listening. As a matter of fact, ACDC is my neighbors favorite band too. He just doesn't realize it. KISS would have to stand on a tall ladder to kiss ACDC's ass.

The only good thing I could say about kiss is that if it wasn't for Gene Simmons maybe AC/DC doesn't make it big because Gene Simmons is the one who noticed them and asked them to tour with his band kiss in america in the mid to late 70s at the Palladium in new york city

i always have thought "riff raff" was more leaning towards the reference to a guitar "riff", thus less vocals and just a jolly good guitar time. perhaps i over thunk it? nonetheless, AC/DC have been my go to music since the first time i bought the album "dirty deeds done dirt cheap". i think that was around '79 or '80? my dad hated it. but later on he realized that i loved that band and began to acknowledge the positive "just wanna have a good time, no worries", influence they provided me.

Bon Scot and all 3 Young bros immigrated to Australia as kids as part of the 10 pound Pom scheme. This is one of their most KICK ASS riff, not easy to play either.. Angus ALWAYS dresses in School Uniform, has since he was 16 and joined the band (when he was really a school kid). ONLY job Angus Young has ever had is playing guitar in AC/DC..

I stopped listening to AC-DC after Bon Scott R.I.P I just couldn't.

Angus and Malcom were better guitar players than Paul and Ace from Kiss. Both great bands. Both had huge followings in the 1970s. Pioneers of rock. But Malcom was better than Paul and Angus was better than Ace. All day long.

Blasphemy Kiss Rip them off. Kiss Cant play a tune if you showed them 15 times they are a show not Musicians.
