It’s reported he still has anywhere from 500-700 tracks unreleased but to mix and master those with the dated recordings might be tough . Majority of the unreleased were recorded from 91-96 and that’s just wild to think about lol

It was released in 1997 on the Gang Related Soundtrack double cd , I still remember the day I bought it ,at Tower Records in Los Angeles and still have the cd in excellent condition.

What's wild is that Tupac didn't even release this when he was alive. This is one of my all-time favs

ONE OF TUPAC'S BEST SONG!

You can't get caught up by what year it came out. There was a lot of Pacs music released after he died. Think about his friends who tell us about his work ethic. He was writing and recording multiple songs a day! I wish more would be released.

The song was recorded in 96" and was released on the Gang Related soundtrack(97). It got released again on Tupac Resurrection in 2003. The other two on the track is EDI Mean and Kadafi(RIP)from the OutLawz.

I'm a HUGE Tupac fan and this is my favorite song of his.

Tupac is my GOAT his songs have lifted me up and made me think alot.. Letter to my unborn child is still my favourite

2pac made soo much music in his short time at Death Row, something like 500+ songs in 8 months. He has 7 posthumous albums and still has unreleased tracks. His work ethic was crazy!

Nah he made probably 200-250 songs on Death Row between October 95 and September 96, not 500 songs, and his phostomous albums ain't original, but this song My Review was released in the original version tho

This was on gang related soundtrack. Tupac is my hands down goat. People always critique his lyrics. But pac could tell a story and could do what alot of people can't make you feel his passion. And his lyrics were good. He wasn't rakim or Kane but he was the goat.

Pac said "can't" and the 2 guys you heard on the song are "The Outlawz". His crew basically. 2Pac and Outlawz. Respectively, those 2 were "E.D.I Mean" and "Yaki Kadafi". Who basically nick named himself after Muammar Gaddafi. The former Lybian revolutionary politician and political theorist. He was a powerful man. Also, there are more Outlawz to hear such as, Hussein Fatal, Napoleon who is very respected to this day, Mopreme Shakur, Big Syke, Kastro and Young Noble. There are also more but they were just in the clique. These guys were the artists.🔥🔥🔥

They were all named after political enemies of the USA. There’s many reasons, but ultimately they felt that they were enemies of the country they lived in because of how they and their people were treated growing up. Genuinely some deep shit, if you’re listening to Tupac on a surface level for something that sounds good you’re missing the point.

Huge Pac fan and I put him #1 on my list and this at the very top of my favorite Pac songs. He only has 2 verses but every line and the chorus just hits my soul with so much emotions even 25+ years of hearing this song

One of the realest rappers and poet, pac was like a modern day prophet for the black community. You guys should check out never had a friend like me and only god can judge me with Rappin 4 tay and gotta survive also some songs by Rappin 4 Tay and Mac Dre in general.

Man I'm just glad someone else is enjoying Pac music as much as I do.

In college, in philosophy class we had to do a paper on his verse in "Still I Rise". Probably the greatest verse I've ever heard!! 🔥

2pac was touched by God. The spirit he raps with and conviction gives me chills.

This song was a song for true pac fans when it came out. It was on a soundtrack originally for gang related right after he died. We needed a banger after a year of being depressed about his death. Thank you Pac for giving us so many classics after your unfortunate death.

This is from a posthumous album produced after he died. Eminem also produced an entire Pac album "Loyal to the Game" in 2004, some bangers on there for sure!

No Bangers on 2Pac posthumous albums, ok some remixes, or close to the originals, but majority of his work was drastically changed

Either way if he said can or cant....still a bar...Tupac was one of a kind glad I grew up in that Era but he made songs for mommas like dear momma he made songs for strong black single mothers as well he was a genuine dude. Rip pac

This is absolutely the best tracks of his, so under rated. This track was on the soundtrack of Gang Related, if you guys haven't seen that movie, you better check it. I figure the track is from the same year as the movie.
