Anyway when SNSD debuted they only have dance line and vocal line, so props to the members because they just follow the flow and take the challenge to rap even though none of them were rapper in the first place

The only group can dance in a 10cm heels but still slaying Vocals, you should watch them live and yes they're queen of Kpop

There is an iconic performance of SNSD "I Got a Boy" at their 2013 Dream concert ... think it was 2013 but the crowd was so loud singing along you couldn't even hear the girls. Goosebumps every time.

SNSD is the pioneer of multiple genres in one song😂 they never repeat a concept. Queens!! 💕

Jessica's iconic line "Let's bring it back to 140" If you go back to 1:40 in the MV, it really went back to 140bpm, back to to original beat

IGAB the OG korean bohemian rhapsody. pretty much all sm ggs have their own now. Red Velvet with zimzalabim, aespa with next level, and ofc f(x) with red light. I hope you dive more into snsd's discography and check out f(x)'s as well.

Written in the stars was an iconic collab (even with nil promotions from SM due to it being an SM station song) ... I will forever be listening to this song and feel satisfied with those godly vocals !

SNSD is also a vocally capable group 5/9 are excellent vocalist and 4/9 are dancers who can be lead vocalist material. their main vocalist taeyeon is KPOP's blue print for what a main vocalist should be and she's highly respected by red velvet most especially by wendy.

SNSD is the yardstick by which all other girl groups get measured. Everything you see girl-groups do now, SNSD has already done. I applaud you for doing IGAB for your first listen. It was a massive hit, but it put a lot of the Kpop world on it's ear, as *nobody* knew what to make of it at the time. Main vocalist Taeyeon is the only one who still releases music on a regular basis, but she's grown into a wildly successful solo artist in her own right.

The other girls are also successful but in dramas hahaha they’re everywhere now..Taeyeon is the most successful and indusputed soloist from a GG with a huge fanbase and public recognition, no one else came close…

I got a boy was an experimental song. It happened to have won the first ever KZread Video of The Year award beating American acts. And yes!!! Their live performances are if not par from the mvs then way better.

I'm sorry but "I got a boy" was a true music miracle, I loved it since the first listen. SM tried to reproduce the sound with Next Level but god knows it took me lots of time to get used to that song. I got a boy instead was masterfully done. Happiness is also one of those SM songs that somehow worked perfectly.

I'm shocked! I thought for sure that you had reacted to GG before. They were the first Kpop group I listened to when I started my journey. the song was Gee. the arrangement blew my mind. Western songs usually dont have silence on the One. when the chorus dropped on two I was hooked. the pause on the beginning of the phrase was awesome. Like ur waiting for the next note. the anticipation. The Wait for it...! if you will. Gee is one of their biggest hits worth a look!

Their You Think live performances are actually 🔥 definitely worth a watch

ahhhh the you think live performances are so good!! their best lives imo are you think, dancing queen (on sketchbook), mr mr, into the new world (these dont have backing tracks-completely live!), all night, holiday, etc!!

You Think is the ultimate bias wrecker track. Their visuals and stage presence in the video and live performances are so on point that every member becomes my bias whenever they are on screen. You’re right in that they are really known for being experimental and switching things up. Their single right before You Think is a summery bubblegum pop track called Party (think Twice’s Alcohol Free before Alcohol Free). Before that? 50s retro/bubblegum pop (Lion Heart). Before that? EDM (Catch Me if You Can).
