They're fried dumplings, festivals are thinner and longer. They gave you stew chicken, not jerked. The pronunciation for the vegetable is kah-lah-loo. Glad you liked it 💕

I’m from Jamaica and if you find that Jamaican food so fascinating then wait until you come to Jamaica and try the actually Jamaican food...I had to laugh at how you pronounce some of the food😂(it’s no disrespect or anything but I’m used to how us Jamaicans pronounce it)...Also did you know that Bob Marley doesn’t eat meat? Most of the people in Jamaica with locs don’t eat meat. And the way you ate the festival and dipped it in the oxtail gravy that’s how we eat it👍🏿 and no Patties aren’t fried😂

I agree with you. Jamaican food got the flavor. Italian cuisine is in a lot of trouble because they cook with a lot of cheese, dairy, pasta and tomato sauce. Cheese and milk is bad for you as per Dr. Sebi. It gives you mucus and inflammation. Tomato sauce gives you acid reflux. Pasta is made out of Flour and breaks down in your body as sugar and cause diabetes and inflammation. The world is shifting away from italian cuisine and moving to healthier types of cuisine. Jamaican cuisine is very healthy. Especially the Rastafarian ital foods.

My grandmother would love you over for dinner 🍽 She loves to feed people and watching you eat is a joy... Magic Mikey my mom is Jamaican and owns her own restaurant I get this everyday. You need to try ackee with those greens and friend dumplings the savory festival. Their most known for curry chicken or goat with rice and peas. And that jerk chicken that you had shouldn’t be that saucy it’s supposed to have a thick crispy skin that crunches with a bbq/jerk sauce served with rice and peas and cabbage slaw.

I Love Jamaican food too!OMG! Soooooo! Good! Visited Jamaica in 2019. Left the resort to hang out with the locals. Was at this back woods party. So much fun!!!

After that sauce hit the rice he lost his soul in the food and went INNNNNNNNN 😂😂
