Quick tip, when your doing them only cut off one section then do those colours in that section, just don’t rip off the whole thing cause then the sticky ness will fade away😁

Good morning from South Australia! i finished my first ever two days ago. I started it when it arrived, which happened to be my birthday. It took me five weeks and one day (with lots of life going on as well). It was a 40x60cm black dragon in square drills. It's framed and on the wall now :) I'm now doing the same size and shape drilled Lightning Dragon. I got my 13 year old doing the baby dragons too :D thanks for sharing your experience

Lol I threw away the wax when I first started and I did so with the pen and finger placed them 🤣🤣

im just watching this and thinking wow she has accomplished so much i mean you are now doing a huge one and you have learned so much from all of this! gurl ur a real role model for people, you kept going and even if u made mistakes on ur art you never gave up!!

I loved the video! I started doing diamond paintings about a year ago and I've been kinda on and off since then. Diamond paintings normally take me anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks. When you said that you were going to try to get the entire canvas done in a day I was a bit surprised but of course, the more you do it you pick up tricks and figure out how long it takes you. Hope you make another diamond painting video soon! Love your videos!

You did great for your first time. There are techniques that the experts have shared on youtube that will give you some strategies that allow you to do a little at a time instead of trying to do it all at once. I know you posted this video a while ago, but I'm adding it for anyone new that comes along. It's a relaxing hobby.

Loved it! I did a beauty and the beast rose diamnod painting and it was so much fun! Please make another video of you diamond painting because its fun to watch!

I started doing diamond painting about 4 months ago and I have done 11 so far I’m working on a custom one right now it’s a 50x70 square diamond it’s big I started about a week ago and I’m half way done it’s fun once you get the hang of it

I like doing diamond arts and I’ve done 8 and I’m doing one of me, my cousin, and our grandparents

For the future, don’t please of the plastic all at once. Instead you just want to peel back the plastic into small sections. You don’t want to expose your canvas😌I hope this helped:)

Not sure if you knew but on the other side of the pen is a attachment that allows you to put down more than one drill.

A good tip, if you want it to be detailed get a big one or if you want a small one get one that doesn't have a lot details.

you can cut it in scares or just go for it like what u did! I do that since I have no containers/places to put the diamonds in-

Diamond painting is addicting. It is simple but does take time. I also hand my on magnetic frames and put them in my daughters room.

Just FYI don’t peel off the protective layer all at once because the canvas will loose its stick and dirt and dust can get stuck on it instead just cut off little sections of the protective layer

Would you do another? There are tools that allow you to place several diamonds at once. Also, there are “special” diamond kits that have very pretty rhinestones and aren’t so intensive. You did a beautiful job on this one!

Step 1 when you get the Dp check if all the drills if you missing one bag or color, Step 2 Never peel of the whole diamond paintig layer, peel off like a square of 5-10cm at a time (Thats how i do it) :D You can also look att DP here on yt on instructions :D

most of the time there is wax left and it is normal and the plastic bags they give you are for left over diamonds so that if you need them again you can easily get them.

tip the part on the end is a multi placer meaning it places more than one diamond at a time

only peel the part on top off in sections that way the sticky won't fade and you technically don't haft to do one color at a time you can put them in containers

A little tip for diamond painting, don’t leak off all of the of the paper form the sheet and also if you want to do more maybe get some organizers the diamond dots.

One quick little tip use an Exacto Knife to cut medium sized sections trust me I've been doing diamond paintings for 5 years I've completed 38 and that strategy works WONDERS!

Quick tip_try to just peel off a little square then do it don't rip off tho whole thing

Right idk why that bugged me lol

I don't peel the whole cover off. I peel it down from the top about 2 inches...do that section and peel down another two inches and so on. That way you keep the sticky part clean and you also have a place to rest your hand while you diamond paint. I work slow...relax...it relieves my anxiety.

That actually happened in a recent video! "Finishing another diamond painting" I just used some extra drills I had that were a similar color but other people have told me about a website called Smith Beads, I havent tried them yet though but I think you can buy extras off that site!
