Diana is still only 20 but she is the greatest vocalist in the world. You won't understand until you watch twenty of thirty of her performances. For this isn't really her. She is in character. She is acting with her voice. She appears on-stage in many different guises because Every performance brings a different character to the stage - the persona of the song. Because she has such a magnificent voice, with superb musicality and control, and because she is such a fantastic actress, she can perform any song in any genre to incredible effect. She sings in many different languages (including French, Spanish, Arabic, Ukrainian, and German, as well as English and her native Russian!) and she has given wonderful performances of gospel, pop, jazz, rock, latin - including salsa, cha-cha-cha, bossa nova and flamenco - folk, R&B, ethnic and opera. Even though you were amazed by this performance - and rightly so - you cannot yet begin to imagine how extraordinary she is. And to top it all, she is very, very wise and a tremendous inspiration to us all!

DEE ANNA is a Russian singer and is just 18 here. This was her opening performance on the Russian TV show ShowMaskGoOn where the nine participants judge each other's performances. All except Diana, who was by far the youngest, were seasoned professional singers, and the man who stood up at the end is a world famous opera singer married to an even more world famous opera singer. Diana ultimately won the competition. Diana captures everyone's imagination. Diana was 18 here (20 years old currently). You really ought to go back and see her live TV performance of Wicked Game at the age of 15 years old. It's equally atmospheric, cinematic and sensational. Jaw dropping stuff.

18 years old her first adult tv competition .. they gave her a mini aria version of an old Elvis hit.. they completely reworked it .. After waiting all day to midnight she goes on and blows the doors off ..if not the roof. Listen to her early performances shes both unique and constantly evolving.. start at her early successes .. she sings in multiple languages .. she really is a Cinderella girl. .. Try Wicked games by her at 14/15 . You will get the shivers.. 😉🇬🇧🧙🏻♂️😎 Nice reaction btw ... natural but not forced and also you are able to pick out those elements that you felt. She is a mix of natural exceptionalism and being highly, dramatically trained. She is also very intelligent and grounded... she has had to negotiate her career in the Russian entertainment scene. The little girl has grown into an emerging swan but she's still a bit goofy given a chance 😂 .

Here are three reasons why Diana (the Queen of Goosebumps) doesn't sound human. First, she is a contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in eight billion. Having watched well over 100 initial reactions to her, only one did NOT say she was "unique".
