As everyone has mentioned they JUST played the Whiskey again. For the 5th time. The Whiskey LOVES The Warning. They have had a standing offer to play whenever they want. The ‘Atlas Rise’ video from the Whiskey is legendary. It was a special request for the owner at the end of a full 2hour show.

I was just looking at the setlist for that show and I've never wished I had a time machine so bad in all my life.

And in return The Warning loves the Whiskey. I think they will always play there, even when they are selling out stadiums. It's a special place for them.
My favorite one of the Warning's best song's you've been Warned 🤘 great rock song
Today they released their 4th album and about 36hs ago they showcased it at the Whiskey. Also I LOVE Ugh, best ending for a song (on piano in the album but on Dany's guitar live).
Bruce Dickinson recently played his first solo show in over 20 years at the Whiskey, it was a surprise show and he even appeared at the box office to sell the tickets.

That sounds about right. If you've never been there and get a chance to go, you really should. It is awesome and underwhelming all at the same moment.
Shurely on fire 🔥 love it🖤Warning brilliant performance,✨
Ironically they just did an album release on Wednesday at the whiskey.

I saw that! It makes me so happy. I spent many Friday and Saturday night there growing up getting buzzed off of what I was able to get the bartenders to sell me. LOL I am pretty sure the statute of limitations is out on that since it was about 40 years ago.
my friend...The Warning "Atlas Rise" Metallica´s cover/LIVE in Whisky a go go please!!!!!!!!!!
🤘😎
They just did the release party for their new album there and if I am not wrong, this is the fifth time they played there.

@@Spectre1123 Can't say for sure, but Maneskin started in Europe, so would logically have played small bars there and not in LA, but I could be wrong.

I think that every song from that show is amazing. I reacted to the entire concert. If you check under my live tab you will see it there. I'm glad you stopped by!
Every tour they have done in Europe has required them to upgrade some venues or add a second date for some cities. In a recent interview they talk about this and how they don't want to take it for granted but has help true and they find themselves to be very lucky: kzread.info/dash/bejne/fG19vKeefrm4cbA.htmlsi=PqowkcV3_R6n01lL&t=913

I am going to talk a little bit about this in my reaction to their Jimmy Kimmel performance that Indo this evening. Just adding 40+ years of observations. LOL
The Warning have no played the Whiskey 4 or 5 times as of this week

The greatest thing about the whiskey is the fact that it is like the absolute definition of a dive bar, but it's the most famous dive bar in the nation. LOL

@@ThePentagenarian yeah, I've never been but I know it pretty well. Now they can all be in the bar area and 2 of them can drink this time. They are growing up.
Yes, The Country Club in Reseda is now a church. Gazzarri's closed down a couple years after Bill's death in 1991, leaving The Whiskey and The Troubadour as the remaining premiere concert venues in (West) Hollywood.

How could I forget The Troubador!!! It was the only place that made the whiskey look like a five-star resort! Thank you for reminding me of it! If you were there back in the day you would remember band names like Malice, Icon, Mad Whip Thunder, and of course a band that I understand is still playing now which is Armored Saint!

@@ThePentagenarian I was a semi-regular back in the late-80s and early-90s. I was aware of many bands on the strip (mostly because I wallpapered my room with their promo flyers), friends with a few bands (Matriarch, Cherry St[reet], Gunner), and became a follower of a few more, one in particular, Sykotik Sinfoney (fun back story on them, if you're interested).

@@ThePentagenarian Indeed, The Troubadour was little more than a closet. Perfect place to stay warm on cold nights, and get a free shower at the same time. 😜

I was VERY fortunate to live a stone's throw from the pulsing heart of the 80's metal scene. I was also fortunate to have parents that trusted their 16 year old son enough to allow me to drive myself and Friends the 45 minutes to an hour it took to get there 3-4 times a month. There was a local ski shop that had a Ticketmaster outlet inside of it and they even allowed me to go over there and camp overnight for tickets to the big bands that I loved like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dio, The Scorpions, etc. The exchange was that whenever they had tickets for an opera, ballet, or stage play, I had to make time for that. I couldn't tell you what month or what year it was, but I remember there being a month in which I saw Armored Saint, La Boheme, WASP, and the Nut Cracker... In that order. I was a weird kid. LOL
