Konoha had been modernized in this time, added the five nations at peace so a lot of negotiations with each are involved and an unknown threat that sasuke has been keeping an eye on that involve kaguya and her clan...third had none what naruto had except incoming threats towards konoha, besides he was not as successful in making alliances with other countries like naruto did during and after the ninja war. Besides, naruto did admit he lacked in spending time with his family because of work and he had no guidance from a father on how to be one...he had more time with his s family though before he became hokage judging by the photos on his desk, living room and both himawari and boruto’s room

@Simply Sasuke He had a bit over 200 during the time when he had his match against Temari in chunin exams . He was a kid . By end of shippuden he was a beast . In some series , he is seen in a prison(on a mission) playing chess entirely IN HIS MIND . He simulated entire game of him and his father and what he would move next XD . That was damn cool but I cant remember the episode . Either it was in end of shippuden or spin off gaiden series . His shadow play is also very unique ninjutsu .

Naruto went back on his word to actually protect the village. He sent a clone to the birthday which is far better than not going at all. His village is his family. He lives in a peaceful era? Who told you that? He manages the planet now. He as expanded the village vastly too. He is the best shadow clone user? If the real person is tired than his clones would be affected even more so. Go watch the episode were they were trying to get Himawari a Kurama. You wouldn't understand because you are spoiled. I have lived a similar life to Boruto, except I wasn't a spoiled brat.

Ya gotta look at it in two ways. 1) Naruto is Hokage, so he’s constantly busy with office work and stuff. Dude has to zig zag from going on T.V., to doing office work, to so on and so forth. It’s getting to the point where he’s overworked, tired, and hungry. And y’all know it sucks working on an empty stomach. 2) Naruto sent a shadow clone to his daughter’s birthday party which isn’t cool. So I can understand why Boruto would be upset. That and he always tried to get his father’s attention because he misses him.
