I visited Taiwan last year, December and yes, I super agree. The Taiwanese people are super friendly!! They go above and beyond to help you, as in! Someday, I’d like to explore more of Taichung and would love to visit Kaoshing, because of this vlog! You create great contents. I saw your Blog and it’s amazing! Love your vlogs too!

not only Kaohsiung's food and the people deserve you to come around , by far we had a greatest mayor of Taiwan Kaohsiung in 2018, guess what ? he will be our next president of R.O.C on Jan in 2020 without the shadow of the doubt .

Just visited Taipei recently. It is the most peaceful place I've ever been to. Locals are so friendly and it is so easy to travel around. Love the weather and the food. Truly a hidden gem

Wow Taiwan looks incredible! I love the guy in the background watching you guys eat your shave ice!

Taiwan is by far one of the Richest and most advanced countries in Asia. On top of that, living expense is low cost

I'm so happy you guys love Taiwan! We were pleasantly surprised as well when we went a couple of years ago. It's really underrated but amazing! I'm not sure if you're able, but definitely recommend Taroko National Park - it's just beautiful.

Taiwan has one of the best food varieties around, from breakfast to the night markets. If the line is long, you know it'll be good. Enjoy Taiwan

When thinking of travelling, taiwan is not on my bucket list but after seeing your vlog you made me change my mind. Youre such a good vlogger. Congrats

we just got back from kaohsiung last weekend and could not get over how friendly the people were, they made our trip. So so wonderful!! great video guys. we want to go back to taiwan for sure!

Of all the things I miss from my vacation in Taiwan last year, Taiwanese breakfast food is very close to the top of my list, but shaved ice is number one.

I was just randomly searching "travel vlog Taiwan" and came across this video! I'm literally crying and having goosebumps. Thank you so much for sharing your experience in Taiwan! It's just so amazing that people are super nice and most travellers agree to that! Thank you so much for this! We always welcome you back to our country!

My husband is from Kaohsiung! I love Taiwan so much! This trip seems really well planned and locals seem to be suggesting all the best things to eat as well! It looks like you will be going to the night market in the next video which is wonderful. I personally also love the art tea houses drinking gong fu tea, Taiwanese bakeries, stinky tofu, and xiao long tang bao or soup dumplings. I hope you fall in love with Taiwan as much as I have!

I’m currently writing speeches this weekend for my upcoming tour guiding job in Europe... but now there’s a part of me wishing it was for Taiwan!!! *Adds* *to* *my* *neverending* *bucketlist*

That guy across the table during the shaved ice reallyyyyy wanted to hang out with you two hahahaha That Buddhist temple was spectacular looking! The very ornate pagodas in sequence up to the large golden Buddha, amazing :)

Ding Tai Fung seems overrated here in the States, and generally overpriced? Maybe it's more reasonable back in Taiwan?

Tango Vagabond things are ALWAYS better where they originate. Mexican food better in Mexico, Chinese food better in China, and then I bet Taiwanese food is better in Taiwan

My friends MARVEL about Taiwan! I need to come here! Had a layover in Taipei for 3 hours but got delayed to 12 hours and sooo wish I would’ve known sooner so I could check out the city!

Omg that man watching you both with the shaved ice! I think he was enjoying Jess's love for something that was probably so regular and simple to him as a local. I hope it reinvigorated his love for small things and for his own food and culture. I love seeing tourists in my own country enjoying things that I would normally just pass by on my way to work... I have a great memory of Taipei but never been to anywhere else in Taiwan. I tend to plan next trip to somewhere I’ve never been. But I started to think of going back to 🇹🇼 . Thank you for you vlog❣️ By the way, I love fried dough😋

Taiwan is such a beautiful country, been there thrice last year and every visit was absolutely amazing. Made quite a few Taiwanese friends as they were truly friendly, the food is awesome. I also had an encounter with a friendly Uber driver and I can’t wait to go back there. Just thinking were to go next perhaps something off the beaten path as I have visited Kaohsiung, Taichung, Taipei and all other popular destination in the north. Lots of love from Manila :)

Taiwan is a nice place and some of the nicest people Ive met. specially the guy at the hotel I think he is the owner of one plus one hotel. he even gave us some take aways during our checkout

Gosh, when I watch this I really miss Taiwan. I really want to go back. The people are so friendly and the food is sooooo good! The shaved ice with mango is sooooo yummy!

Ditch the crowded places and head to a small, less popular but not at all less spectacular little city, hell yeah! Really inspiring! And also, the lack of people in this little city just shows how underrated it is, but daaaaamn it's insanely beautiful.

Taiwanese people are so nice! I'm getting ready to go on my third vacation there. I would live there if they didn't have such hot weather all the time. .

I celebrated last new years eve in Taiwan. Was in Taipei and Jiufen. I would love to explore more of the country, as I loved it there. I am also a Mango lover, and Taiwan felt like Mango heaven. So many amazingly good Mango Ice-creams and drinks! Hehe.

It's been a long time I've been back since I was a kid in Taiwan, but glad to see the locals are treating you right. I'm a little more proud knowing the folks back home are leaving a fairly good impression on those that are passing through :)
