But first we are going to play: Guess that sound!

Always fun to test ride a bike to find a problem then the call come pick us up 20 min down the road for a random cut out 😂😂😂

I like your philosophy about not cutting corners!! Cutting corners is just asking for more problems later on down the road.

I really like this bike. I like the stance, the wide glides, the proportion, the bars, everything. Looking forward to seeing how the shop approaches this fix.

I suggest you check the tappet oil screen first...for clogging/contamination before tearing into all the other possibilities. Hi to you and yours.

Ya my dealership in Pa won't even work on twin cams anymore let alone an evo. Sounds like a good dealership but you did spend a pile of cash thru them.

Nice! Get her tuned up and maintained, including tightening that ingition switch! Your ingition switch is loose. We see the wires moving qhen you turn the key, and that will eventually result in wires that break due to fatigue. I've seen that happen on 100s of guitars where the pots are loose and they rotate a little. Same with the output jacks. A loose jack or pot eventually results in a broken wire, and your ign switch will be no different.

I'm gonna guess lifters. Maybe. After owning 2 bigtwin evos and having to replace both sets. Or something from riding it like it's a twincam or M8.

I didn't think Harley dealers would work on a bike 10 years old.

Im surprised any Harley techs will even work on a bike that old. Most around here look at one like its alien technology.

Because they are a dealer that he has a good relationship with and they obviously have good enough techs that know what they are working on.

If you have a good relation with your dealer and there are techs that know how they will. I'm sure he is a good customer to them.

Isn’t a great feeling when your mechanic hears what you hear? And does something about it? I hear EVERY SINGLE NOISE on my Softail and my guy says I am TOO PICKY? What? Isn’t that why YOU HAVE A REPAIR BUSINESS? And it always turns out there is something wrong. Time for a new mechanic.

Nah, not picky. You just know your bike very well. In particular if its a new noise. I mostly do my own work as not many experienced guys near where i live.
