Nothing is more permanent than temporary wiring that works.

I was sleeping there for a minute (I'm old and prone to nodding off 😁) and I happened to have my headphones in and then you fired her off. I immediately jumped knocked over my coffee and nearly pissed myself! Now my ears are bleeding I'm deaf and still grinning like hell. She sounds pretty good!👍

F the naysayers. It's now a runner and has a future.
Everyone needs a Dani always fun and positive 😊
Definitely not junk! This would be an easy project to finish!
Car sounds really good Dan. It’s in a good spot for the next owner. Another one saved and ready for some love. 👍😎✌️
good job saving another car keep them coming you two…….
Your projects always makes a car better and easier for next guy to finish.
Sounds pretty darn good Dan!! Somebody is going to get a really awesome project car. You are the man, taking two left for dead, stripped down, disassembled and rotted out shells and turned them both into solid rust free running and driving project cars! I love what you do man. Don't listen to the naysayers, their just jealous.
GOOD JOB U2!.... Screw the naysayers on the outer web!
Happy Camaro lives again
Dan keep up the great work. That Camaro is a runner!😊
Brings back those old days when life was simple.these cars were always around .
Hey Kids, I ordered 2 Garage Hack Shirts. You gotta rotate the stock and keep fresh cars coming in. Saving these two Camaros is what Hot Rodding is all about. Great job. Thank you

@@DDSpeedShop just bought a batch of merch shirts and was wondering if there was going to be a repop of the original "is that DD Speed Shop??"black shirt with white lettering? my original is gettin' a bit ratty.
I know you are doing daily videos to raise $ but I really like them! I appreciate the extra videos of your "hacker"y😂
Another 1st Gen will live on.
That would make a good running driving project for someone, and will turn plenty of heads the way it is.I don't think you'll have a problem finding a buyer.
Maybe get some hats with DDSS on the back of them also. Stitch it right into the mesh. Marc.
Careful Dan, if you dont have the engine ground to the body the shift cable will act as one to its end...
awesome job on the camaro built on parts found .... wherever.... seriously, great job.
It's nearly there! Enjoying watching you save this cool old car.
Sounds good Dan and Dani
I think the car sounds good. You have brought it a long way from the junkpile it was and made 2 decent cars. Have enjoyed the laughter you two have brought.
Nice work. Getting her ready for her new home 👍🏾
That car would be a daily driver for me. Yall do a great job and give low budget guys like me a reason to keep on working on my junk.
Dan Dan the magic man
YES, the COUNT reference. lol Thanks for the entertainment once again.
A lot of people have lost what cars are they don't need to be perfect just drive them and have fun
Dan bet your neighbors would pitch in for you a new place with that noise lol. Love your videos.
Mid 60's GM cars that had an amp meter (vs voltmeter) had a #10 wire that ran thru the bulkhead connector going the the amp meter. in the dash. That connection often got over heated (fire worst case) with melted wires. That wire also fed the fuse panel and it was protected by a curicuit breaker mounted on the firewall above the distributor. I have converted my cars to a voltmeter so that I didn't have that fire hazard under the dash. Food for thought for future 60's projects. (77 year old hot rodder!)
It's amazing considering how it was win you started
It’s a great looking project car.
This car is just about good enough for cruising the car shows. You wont worry about someone walking past it too close or little kids touching it. Excellent job folks !
right on
Nothing but love and rainbows 🌈
I worked for Hughes Aircraft from 79 to 89 as a quality engineering group head and one area I was responsible for was the wire harness assembly area. We used harness boards where all the wires were laid out. It’s a great way to keep track of which wire goes where.
It's looking good Dan. Thanks for the great editing Dani. 👍👍🇨🇦
Wooh dude, that hot rod's a runner. awesome. maybe we will see it move itself soon. Be well. Hi Dani.
Great video. Another runner.
Thanks for sharing this video with us
Take a victory lap guys.

Dan, you really look good with that Camaro! Daniel looks really good with it too. Plus, with so many people out here being Camaro fans, keeping the Camaro around for a while could increase interest in your channel. Just sayin...
She's a runner!!
That car wouldn’t be to hard to put back on the road for anyone who knows how to work on cars for me I would scuff it down spray some paint on it and fix the lights on it and drive it
Wow Dan I'm really impressed, Dan the Man. Way to go brother. 😎
Great job everyone loves open headers well except the neighbors 😅
The count always knows Spark plug wires ! Lol. Great Car Video
You make runners out of what most people consider junk anyway. When you can bring something back from the DEAD and make it a runner that someone might be able to drive it daily, I call that a win.
Nay sayers have likely not even turned a wrench. I used to, as a young teenager, build a flip cars out of my garage. Mostly newly junked cars that were complete but non running. I had a neighbor that was a drag racer and another that was a body shop Mgr. and a trans shop 2 blocks away (most of the vehicles were auto TH350's or 400's). My Mother was the biggest nayser, until the 4th or 5th car, that I gave her since she had warped the alu head on the Vega she had, so many times it was junk. In fact, that car also had a rebuilt in it that my brother and I installed, since she had done the same to the last engine. So, I found a Mercury Monarch with a 250 6cyl and a towing pkg. (big brakes, big rad). She still blew head gaskets because she would sit in bumper to bumper traffic with the AC full blast! I put a massive 4 core rad in and still had that head milled twice a summer for a couple years!! I'm pretty sure that the compression was close to 11:1 when I got her a late 80's Caddy that was built to abuse with AC!! LOL. Anywho, I had some goofy friends that would come over and say stuff like, 'Why you working on this POS?" or"that's never gonna run". Funny thing, they were also the same people that asked for help, when their POS didn't run!! ;) Keep doing what you're doing, it makes me smile every time and it makes me glad I am no longer bending over hoods! LOL
I haven't figured out how you manage to work with parts and tools laying all over the fenders, cowl, core support, roof, etc. If I tried that, all that stuff would all wind up in the floor, or worse yet, down in the engine bay within minutes. I use trays to put stuff in.
Dude!!! Great video!!! Good job putting 2 Camaros back on the road!!! Hope you made a buck or 2!!!✌️
The car is saved and now a vision for the new owner better then the fate it had in the goat pen! List it soon for 20,000 and that’s a good chunk to a down payment on property!
I love it another one saved from the scrap man.
Wood smoke... Imagine that...Living in Minnesota I can attest that Canadian forests are ALWAYS on fire!!
Simply amazing!! She sounds pretty good. Hopefully, the engine is a runner. That wiring work you did was cool to watch. Nice work, Dan. Cheers!! 😊
For a cobbled together from junk parts car it looks and sounds great, a really good vase project for someone to finish off.
Great job! Sounds good , Keep up the good work!!!
Yessir '. OLD mechanics tale. Never thoroughly clean your tool/s. Fear of being useless. Keep it oiled and never forget the day/night you were bonded...
Valve train noise on driver side, header against the steering box? Lift the tranny, then maybe header won't touch the steering box. Your wiring adventure takes me back👍

Thank you for the video I’m starting on my daughters 68 Camaro soon
The stock ign coil feed was below 12 v with a by pass from the starter. The HEI needs 12v .When you were poking wires the one below 12 might have been the coil wire and it would be around 9 v for point ign system .
Sounds great . List it FOR SALE .
Good job Dan
Two more classic Camaros on the road....Yeeehaw!
Keep it up, great job!!! Model A time
Thanks for the video.

You can’t kill a quadrajet. Best stock 4bbl carb ever made
@-Mike-69
4 күн бұрын
@IowaBudgetRCBashers You are right to a certain degree. The quad will work good on a stock motor, as long as you don't ask to much of it. The accelerator pumps don't have the volume of fuel necessary "quadrabog".,,,,,,,,,,,,,And they are prone for vapor lock . Just the nature of the beast. I've been using these carbs forever. You just gotta understand it's limitations.

Great work. Persistence pays off! As you said - from 0 to 2 running, rescued cars. That engine sounds snappy. 🇨🇦
I like what your doing saved another one
Alright, alright, alright !!! The previous owner had it wired by Spaghetti Works Inc.!!! They used whatever color wire they had today; LOL !!! Master Tech Dan to the rescue !!! You got it figured out and She`s Making Heat !!! Rave - On Danni and Dan !!!

Good morning from Cape Cod ⛵ the way I see it Dan is you took a couple of cars destined for the scrap heap and turn them into respectable runners. I'm sure you figured My First Love is a Camaro above all Chevys but we can't all like the same things. Variety is the spice of life. About how you look at it you do some awesome work Dan, and Danielle you're doing an awesome job videoing and editing 👍✌️🇺🇲🇨🇦
Great job your right it runs Worth more money now don't give it away
❤❤ love your videos awesome content😊
I couldn't believe you almost put your hat on the right way in the beginning of the video. I will never understand why people even bother wearing caps when they wear them backwards. I can see it in some instances but otherwise it just looks dorky. Sorry I'm just a grumpy old guy that has been wearing hats for about 50 years, and I'm a little set in my ways. Our son came home with his ball cap on backwards, one time LOL...
These cars from the factory get power through the horn relay power comes from the battery to the horn relay, and then from the horn relay to the main fuse block on the car, took me a while to figure that one out
Sounds great. Great job
I can't believe how hard you make timing a small block I never had to turn the engine over to drop the distributor in
Dan you have inspired me to get back to work on a 1974 camaro, it doesn't need nearly this much work you make me look bad so im dedicating two hours a day tell it's ready to sell it will make a great drag and driver working on the engine at this time its been wired and plumed thanks
COOL CAR, GOOD JOB!
Hey Dan&Dannie Another great one and a huge Congrats! Thank you to both of you. Take care of Yourselves 😊

A turtle in the creek and the turtle in the garage you're the turtlemaster. Now it's time to teach the turtle how to haul ass twin turbo time and keep it The nova and the Chevelle our family cars the Camaro has a potential of being the fastest car you own👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Cool I'd love to have that 68 or the 67 or any of your hotrods
Congratulations D&D. Another classic hotrod saved. You got it running on parts you had available. Not really junk parts that some are calling them. Using what you've got is what built the whole damn hot rodding culture. You mentioned some valve train noise on the left side. May be some header contact noise that might go away once you get the trans cross member bolted up. Love DD videos!
Name the camara Hack Tua... lol. Love you guys.
Awesome job on getting it started and running . Running awesome indeed. Keep up the great work.
She’s a beaut Dan , man how many cars have you had total on your channel? Cheers 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Great job guys 👍💯
Yer it go s out the door get the chevelle in the shed looking forward to next one
Happy Camaro day! So glad this one is falling into place with mostly what you have already and with spares to pass on with the offer. I'll bet 90% of your detractors have never worked on a hot rod, never mind rescuing a pile of rust from a field as the starting point. The Camaros are well worth fine tuning at this point for the future owners and sinking more money into them would just become diminishing returns for projects you want to sell.
