First Run of Echo CS7310P " X " Series Chainsaw

This is the first cutting with the Echo X series CS-7310P chainsaw. This is Echo's newly released line of professional grade chainsaws and power equipment.
I have always been a fan of Echo as I mentioned in the video. This saw has not disappointed at all in its first run. Equipped with a 28-in bar, it would likely be the biggest saw that most people would ever need, even with significant tree management tasks.
The Echo 7310 chainsaw is designed to compete with the Husqvarna 572 XP and very recently released Stihl MS 500i.
Thanks so much for watching, and stay tuned for more cutting with the Echo X series!

    Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Honestly, I began using Echo power equipment years ago, but it was mostly weed trimmers and blowers. I've always been impressed with the quality for the dollar spent. I know some of the professional fallers have concerns about them, but for my needs, they are just perfect!

    That thing is screaming for you to remove the carb adjustment lockout caps and adjust the carb so it can show off. It would void your warranty, but the satisfaction of seeing it run like it's capable would be worth it. That's a good saw, but the way it's running now a 680P would eat its lunch, then steal his girlfriend :-)

  • @thebradleysoncatbirdhill6849

    @thebradleysoncatbirdhill6849

    2 жыл бұрын

    Thanks so much for watching and your question. On bigger, more powerful chainsaws, there can be a lot of force during the shutdown when the flywheel stops spinning abruptly. That force can lead to premature failure of the pawls That engage the flywheel when starting it. By pulling the rope, you disengage them and eliminate that abrupt stoppage force.

    Looks like it's a little big for you, you hit the ground...... try cutting the bottom of the tree with the tip of the bar. At the 9:04 mark you are making noise not chips. This Echo X series saw got an owner that will make it work very hard to the end of it life. At 10:22 mark, I see the chain a little to loose for me. At 11:47 mark, don't you see, feel and hear the blade is dull. be safe.

    @@thebradleysoncatbirdhill6849 Actually, if you learn what "ream the cut "means, you will rarely need to use a wedge. Most people rely on wedges because of lack of experience. Sometimes they're needed, but they can also waste a lot of time . You can cut through the compression side of a log and all the way through without a wedge. You'll pull less wood too. Simply from the sound, blubbering (aka 4-stroking) when lifting off slightly, it's running too rich on the top end, possibly intentionally for break-in. At 6:54 it sure looked like we were gonna see some ditch-witching. Driving some wedges then could've lifted the area of the cut. Wedges fit nicely in a pouch, or a rear pocket. I really hate it when they drop onto moving chain.
