This EP was insanely good. Great guitar work, great instrument work, great vocals, great production, its heavy, melodic, and has well written meaningful lyrics. 10/10. The singers new band is called sal3m.

Other reaction channels I often just watch the songs that I know and like. But with your reaction you make it interesting to watch. Keep it up! And, I can’t make up my mind of witch song you should do next 😅

I'm the exact same way. Most channels I watch a couple Nightwish, Jinjer, or Unleash the Archers reactions and then move on. I've been subscribed here and watched almost all the videos.

And I gotta say this is by far one of the better reaction channels. I can see that your able to appreciate all music genres and be able to enjoy them also. It’s hard to find a channel where that personality is present but also the knowledge in music theory and production of music. I really love it man I just watched about five of your videos. Keep putting them out. Hard work pays off.

Big fan of this band. I used to struggle heavy with alcohol and their song Echoes was what I listened to all the time to help me get off the sauce. Hope you check out more by them someday! Still waiting for what seems like forever for new ETID!

Ooooh Novelists FR, are so good. You should definitely check out more of these guys. They are for me the kinda band that doesn't really have any bad songs, same as with ERRA which i saw you recently checked out. Great reactions as well, love how you analyse the songs abit and dive a little deeper into the tracks. Keep it up!

Hi Chase ! Thanks for your thoughts and insights and for making us discover new music ! :D If you have time and envy, I recently found this band, I know they must be really famous and I'm a bit late but they absolutely blew my mind... It's Haggard with the album Eppur Si Muove, especially the song Of A Might Divine. It's... Unique :D Have a great day ! Greetings from France :)

I mostly liked the different effects and mixing on the guitar bits. Something I think you would really appreciate, and I'd love to hear the breakdown, for is Jack The Joker - Volte Face.

Personally my preference is a mix between growls and melodic vocals IF growls are used at all. Then the growls also tend to have lyrical meaning. Examples of combos like that could be Ayreon - Day 3 Pain, Architects - Hereafter (though that's more 'scream' than growl), or DSME - Relapse. There are very few songs I enjoy that have pure growls, but I ALWAYS enjoy the instrumentality of such bands. I found it helps if I just treat the growled vocals as another 'instrument' than a 'voice' if that makes any sense in the case where they are very heavy growls to the point the lyrics can't really be understood.

A bit to modern (Americanized) metal for me. Don't know what it is really but something about mixing that normal pop register with growls just don't feel like a good mix for me. I also feel most bands going for this sound don't really explore there instruments enough to come up with an interesting sound ( very repetitive ). I see a lot of comments how say they really like it though, but that's taste for you 😁 I'm closer to the progressive scale however not enough to enjoy Dream Theatre, but Versailles - Faith and decision ( m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/c5icyKdvebfMn7Q.html ) is right up my alley.

I dont really like metarlcore. The only way for me to like it, its come black sludge post hardcore band like : Deluge, Celeste, Regarde les Hommes Tomber, Amenra, Cult of Luna, Plebeian Grandstand. Many more musical interest i think, thats my tastes. France is full of little bands like that! At the end, i think you should really try this band with a girl kzread.info/dash/bejne/nG2iutmapMrZfdY.html OATHBREAKER

A spot of advice, link the video of the original artist in the description of your videos to give better publicity to what you are reacting to. Reactions are already morally grey in regards to drawing away benefit to the original artist/label via youtube revenue.

I know there are many people that like the growling as is performed here. It doesn't appeal to me at all though. I think my limit might be in the area of Accept, and even there some songs are hit and miss for me. . Perhaps it is because i don't have a lot of inner rage? Kind of a happy-go-lucky type of guy. Don't know what the appeal is...

They're French. Oftentimes their name is stylized as "Novelists FR" because there is another band called Novelists from the states. Similar with Architects, sometimes stylized as "Architects UK". I've never listened to the corresponding US bands with those names, so I'm not sure what they're like.

But why? I get more emotional response from listening to my alarm clock ticking. And yet...harmonies... a ray? 'I wasn't expecting any singing.....' lol If you enjoy.... enjoy. Not for me i'm afraid. It's a song with one of the instruments missing.
