I love that Diana Ankudinova is constantly evolving, and her approach to this song is always shifting. But this particular performance will always have a special place in my heart. ❤️⚡️🔥

She was 14 years old on this video. There are a few reasons why this one is considered her best performance of this song and why people told you to hear this one instead the other you saw previously. 1) She is younger before her voice went way deeper so she sounds a little different. 2) She had to practice this one song for a whole week without worrying about other performances so she worked it to perfection. 3) Since this is the only song she did for the day in comparison to concerts where she has to sing continuously, she could go all out without fear of losing her voice on this incredibly difficult song. 4) The production and the dancers also set the mood along with the professional recording so this is peak both visually and audibly. She has sang recently a different version of the song in one of her concerts along with her band that is more suitable to her current voice and it is also masterfully done (I even think that it is better structurally i believe it suits the song better) but this performance will always remain as one of her best and it holds a big place in the minds and hearts of her fans.

TOTALLY agree . this is a landmark performance and will be my fave forever. the new one does show that her control and technique go even better, and that even on desk mic she needs no audio tricks to blow you away.

That is a doble glottal hammering vibrato that brings to our minds the greeting/farewell to the spirits inherited from Turkic/Tengrenist traditions in certain muslim tribes in the ancient Turan to pay homage to the ancestors and spirits of nature. In Spanish I know it as "hammering vibrato" or "glottal vibrato". In Iran I heard they call it "che-che". It is not yodeling but an ethnic technique relative to yodeling but needs more control on the notes you sing than in yodeling. It is similar to that used by Dimash in "sinful passion" though this version takes three basic notes instead of two.

Diana’s vocals here was slightly different because her Contralto tone was deep but not like it is as an adult. She was 14 and she performs “Deniere Danse” at this age and it got 350 million views…I believe a copy is provided by KWSTAS a dedicated fan who makes it available since the SANCTIONS. TY JND. I would recommend “Rise like a Phoenix” it’s performed live. Great 👍🏽 Choice.

Diana Is Pronounced Deana . she is a contralto , is very rare , she also sings polyphonic with overtones . She is 14 rears old here, this video is already getting old she just turned 20 years old .

Эта динамика напоминает мне полемику, порожденную такими великими французскими художниками 19-го века, как Гюстав Курбе, Теодор Жерико, Мане критиковались и отвергались академией, но имели большое художественное влияние за их уникальную стилистическую силу и как создатели. Я бы сказал, что вы должны быть осторожны, когда мы выражаем в области искусства, что это уродливо, это хорошо, это плохо. Я не согласен, что норма, канон пения в сторону остроты, это культурная проблема. Иногда мы слышим развернутые отклики от людей, которые очень узко смотрят на сложность того или иного художественного явления. Надо бы понаблюдать за тем, что Диана Анкудинова производит в зрителях, что порождает то, что я из самого дальнего уголка Южной Америки размышляю над феноменом этой великой художницы.
