Igor Krutoi is not her manger or mentor. He supported Diana only during her participation in the “You are super” project. His found just presented Diana with the apartment in Moscow as for the winning of two seasons( though few other participants got apartments too) Beyond this, he didn’t do much for Diana. He wasn’t interested in to be her mentor or else.

I don't want to compare it to any other song; by anyone else. For me, this belongs with paintings and sculptures by the great masters of all historical times.

thanks to encrypter46 ( comments below ) for the meaning of this old Russian story and song.........Diana is a natural Contralto, as you nored, which is rare and the lowest of female vocalists' registers.....she is also polyphonic ( able to sing multiple notes simultaneously ).......she reminds us that there are so many talented performers from the "world music" genre,.....but she is unique among them.......she was abused and abandoned as a child, was MUTE.....raised in a Russian orphanage ........Her adoptive Mum used singing and voice lessons to help Diana overcome the trauma of her earliest years......

Я лично был на концерте Дианы 7 января в Москве.Начало-полная темнота и голос Дианы.Она поёт "Реченька" а капелл о,без музыкального сопровождения.После первого куплета зажёгся свет,а Диана всё пела без музыки!Когда допела сказала "Здравствуйте .Я часто так пою.А то люди не верят,что это мой голос".Я сидел в 4-м ряду.Метров 8 от неё!
