❣️Anpanman is a comic Japanese superhero that has bean-cake bread head. Other then that he has no super hero abilities. But he sacrifices his own bread head to feed hungry starving kids, sacrificing himself while doing so. Jimin is one of the kids when after all members collapse, Jimin reaches out to get fed. The lyrics basically are saying that one doesn’t need to be. ‘Super hero to have compassion, & help others! Indeed that we can all be ‘super heroes’ in our own way. Interestingly enough, many songs that have the deepest meaning are outwardly seemingly light hearted and fun! Jimin in some of their live concert performances even became mischievous and instead of staying put when collapsed on floor to wait for RM, snuck to far opposite side of stage, so RM had to find him to have that interaction with him! During live performances one never knows what to expect from BTS because they always change things up. Each performance is totally worth seeing, never gets old! I highly recommend you make a point if looking eng lyric translation. Even looking for what the actual comic super hero Anpanman looks like! I believe you’ll enjoy the performances as well as the choreography, that much more when you have an even better understanding of the messages they’re trying to convey! 👍🙏❤️‍🔥🥰

I've always been told it's about super heroes without any powers like cops and fire fighters...people running to help. I haven't seen this version before, but a live version with them in light blues and jeans doing this dance, live 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

BT21 was created by BTS. Each member drew each character and created their backstory. There is of course a series of videos documenting the creative process. This song is genius, I don't know who had the idea for this song. It's one of my favorites, basically anpanman is the weakest superhero and doesnt have super powers like batman ect., it's a Japanese cartoon who's head is made out of bread, or red bean paste. filled bread, however you want to see it, who cuts off parts of his head to feed like hungry children ect. Basically he's a kind hero that helps people in need and that he has a little to offer but offers all he can

This song is so precious. It sounds like a fun ost for a cartoon, but it displays their hearts. Cute and heartwarming... There is a ref to Anpanman in Idol too.

BTS sang Anpanman on Good Morning America (one of my favorite TV performances) as a tribute to the doctors and nurses during the pandemic- who were the unsung heroes😉💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

One of my favourite BTS tracks. So catchy and a great meaning. Everyone can be a super hero by giving a little of themselves, just like Anpanman (Google him, he is too cute!) All the BTS members came up with the concepts of their BT21 characters, there is a whole series available where you can see them drawing right through to the finished characters.💜

From information in my comments BTS and Blackpink both have a large variety in ages of fans. EXO is my ult group and got me into Kpop. I don't think it's fair to say that BTS and Blackpink are limited to younger people though.

​@@tammyreactz ofcourse it is not limited to young people! You are right because i am 58 and male and a fan of bts. Also a fan of progressive rock and metal. We have a lot of bts cd's but also some Exo, Seventeen and Stray Kids.
