Stan is very much respected in New Zealand. We are proud of what we are down here, the Maori culture is what New Zealand is. We are all one.

Glad to see others around the world starting to recognise the extraordinary talent this man has been blessed with. Stan proudly showcases his culture/language whenever he gets the opportunity unlike the music industry which has ignored or assumed that there wasn't a market for indigenous music. Stan has proven that people are searching for real authentic music, no matter where it comes from or the language. It speaks to them on a deeper level helping them to reconnect to their people, land, culture and roots paving the way for people around the world to find their origin, be proud of who they are, where they come from and where they belong. Thankyou for reacting to Stan. He is an indigenous Maori from NZ (pronounced mow as in ‘how’ - ree) Stan is a walking miracle. We are lucky to have him still with us. I believe he has a higher purpose. Stan’s family carries a deadly cancer gene and he proved positive to having it. In order for him to survive he had to have his stomach removed when he was 27 and he had to learn to sing again. He filmed his struggle and the videos are on KZread.
