The Chopin piece Miyako (guitar/keyboards) is playing in the intro is "Etude OP10, No. 12" known as the "Revolutionary Etude." In 1831, some officers and citizens rose up against the Polish government, which was under the de facto control of the Russian Empire, in what was called the "November Revolution" but ended in failure due to the direct intervention of Russian troops. Chopin received this news during a performance tour. He never set foot on the soil of his homeland again. When the Russians invaded Warsaw, Chopin's agent presented "Etude OP10, No. 12" in Paris. Because of the agent's exaggerated publicity, people called this piece "Revolutionary Etude. Miyako composed "Swan Song" based on this "Revolutionary Etude" and Dvorak's "New World Symphony. Asami (vocalist), a former ballerina, wrote the lyrics based on the historical background of "Revolutionary Etude" and inspired by Norse mythology and the ballet suite "Swan Lake. "SwanSong" is a requiem dedicated to the warriors who fought to reclaim their homeland, a masterpiece that only LOVEBITES could complete.

I still love Iron Maiden and Helloween. But you are right: LB developped an incredible speed of lining-up, developping technically, and (now) touring internationally. As if their time has simply come.

To me, it still is _surreal_ , that Lovebites actually exist and perform, in our generation. You are right: Unreal skills. Any other band would be happy to have at least 3 amazing musicians. Lovebites have 5 of them, multi-talented, 2 of them being music _prodigies_ (Fami and Míyako). Something _amazing_ is happening in front of our eyes. Music history in the making.

Chopin (pronounced Show-pan) was a Polish-born Romantic-era (1800’s) classical composer and piano virtuoso who lived most of his life in France. He is considered one of the great classical composers, specializing in highly technical works for piano. "Etude" is French for "study". Chopin's Etudes were written as "studies", or lessons, for his students. They ended up being popular things for professional pianists to play as part of their concerts, in part to show off their skills. This is one of the more famous ones and is considered one of the most difficult ones. Miyako, who composes a lot of Lovebites’ music, is a professional-level concert pianist, and was originally going to make classical music her career. When she was 18, she picked up a guitar, and is now (quite obviously) an elite-level guitarist. She particularly likes the Romantic Era classical composers like Debussy, Dvořák and Chopin, as well as her stated favorite, Russian romantic composer Rachmaninoff. She composed “Swan Song” using elements of the New World Symphony (Dvořák) and Chopin’s Revolutionary Etude (official name Étude Opus 10, No. 12 in C minor), with a passage by Rachmaninoff as the outro. For this performance, she actually played the Etude as the intro, but it’s not normally included in their shows.

The Etude is difficult to play as it is left-hand dominate. Many teachers use it so their students work their left-hand. The fact that Miyako is playing it from memory is Mind-Blowing in itself. The other thing Miyako has never taken guitar lessons.

LOVEBITES' songs incorporate various metal genres, and the lyrics and songs have many different aspects, so the white costume makes sense. Thank you for your continued support of LOVEBITES. P.S. The main principles of the band presented by Miho, the founder and first bassist of LOVEBITES, are as follows. ①Heavy metal (basic policy) ②All English lyrics (strategy for global expansion) ③White costumes (Most metal bands wear black costumes, and if these short girls wore black costumes, they would be hidden, so they wear white costumes to contrast and stand out.) ④High heels (to compensate for short height) Miho also thought about the visual effects on stage. Asami(Vo) will modify stage lighting effects etc. on-site. For white costumes, each person requests their preferences and ideas from the costume staff.

he was born Polish. Chopin absolutely embraced the French, and their pronunciation of his name, and even accepted French citizenship, but he lived half his life elsewhere (including his entire education) before moving to France. many people insist that there is only one acceptable pronunciation for his last name, however he lived his entire life considering himself to be Polish. there are absolutely two legitimate pronunciations of Chopin, and one of them is very dissimilar to "sho- pan", as you have described it.

Chopin, Show - Pan (just saying) A Polish composer known for his piano compositions, many of which are considered amongst the most technically difficult to play well. Often assigned as practice pieces for students of the classical piano.
