I think you’d love the John Deere 70 I have sitting out back. Grew up doing garden tractor pulls up here in Michigan. Got a pile of trophies, she was a beast. They started changing the rules around our tractor 😂

Love this stuff, I used to have a 160 with some meaty tires and smoke stack. I would ride that around all over, my neighbors used to call me the tractor boy lol

I have been wanting to do something like this with one of my cub cadet. I really want to put a rotary from a snowmobile in one of them. And also a diesel engine. Either a Chinese clone Or a two cylinder diesel from a semi auxiliary power unit

Weight is your friend. You can add liquid in the tires and iron in the wheels if you want. Easily add 200#

Awesome! I just put that same exact engine in my excavator.I'd love to turbo it for more power!! (Got the machine with no engine) I also have a JD332, liquid fill your tires, and add some wheel weights, it'll have way more traction!!

You need some wheel weights and chains. I have a 322 with 150lbs. on each back wheel and with chains it will push/pull like a dozer. Lol. Love the 300 series Deere, Can't beat them. Thanks for sharing.

Same tires I put fro t and back on my 430. I went with 26x12x12 on back and 18x8.5x8 front. I installed a 3 point hitch and use it to plow my garden and plug my yard. The hitch plate you installed is the factory hitch plate that came on that garden tractor. Crazy fact my 1986 JD 430 was $9800 plus tax in 1986, more than a 1986 f150 lol! I call mine the HULK. Check out Dig drive diy he has a 318 with a 25hp swap pulling a huge dump truck.

What size tires did you put on it?

How many gears does that have, you were ripping that truck. I use to pull when I was a kid. Ran in 2nd gear, Old sears and roebuck mower named (nitro). Still love the old ones, John deer, Massey Ferguson, wheel horse, cub cadet, Ford, probably a few others I can't recall. I pulled in the 8hp stock class. Both weight classes. Never did win lol still had a ball. Those tractor tires actually tend to suck on grass here just as much as the turf tamers especially wet grass.. hard packed ground. Soft Florida soil may suit them better. Look up how to remove/unhook the governor in them (we done that to the gas) ones so they'd run wide open when we wanted or some would just tie a string to them and run them wide open that way

lovin the tractor stuff. pulling the truck isnt like real tractor pulling, using straps doesnt put any weight down on tractor like a sled would, plus the straps being higher on the truck almost picks the rear of the tractor up. Also u should have tommy the painter or even u clear coat that to keep the patina and it doesnt rust anymore, i like the name u picked but i also like Rusty to go with Dusty lol keep up the awesome content

should try the versa turfs, best between bar and turf tires and a million times better if in snow

U should fill the tires with antifreeze about 3.4 full for traction

its sick that its 5 lug and those tires are looking beefy

These turbos have very cheap seals and often leak oil into the intake side and can lead to a runaway. I probably would be a good idea to block the inlet with a air tube.
