I love chocolate labs. We had a boy named Brownie for 16 years. He was an oversized lap dog and a great sleeping buddy.

I got my choclab 4 weeks ago. Earlier than I thought. What a doll!!!! My girl’s name is Araya. The best behaving puppy ever. She goes everywhere with me. She is 12 weeks old on Monday. Training is an adventure! Loving and hugs is mandatory.🥰

I’m in exactly the same boat ... i’m nervous I haven’t had a pup in over 20yrs, had about a dozen rescues in that time ... I’m terrified!

My chocky is destroying me and my house, and I absolutely love her 💕

How is Mocha doing today? We have rescued four dogs as you will see in my channel but never a puppy. Are you sleeping through the night yet?

A couple of hints about our nw puppy First, never give a lab puppy soft toys as yo are encouraging chewing. Labs love to chew on Anything that will fit in their mouth.....shoes, clothes, bed skirts, your dirty clothes left on the floor. Instead give them hard rubber toys.

I respectfully disagree. Puppies will chew on anything. Gonna take sticks or bones away because they might chew on the furniture? My puppy has lots of different chew toys. If she chews on the wrong thing I redirect her. If it is irreplaceable, put it away.

Two things, ONE!!! why put an harness on the dog in the house totally unnecessary. TWO!!! I bloody dislike cages for dogs inside a house. As for crying put an ticking clock under its bed it will help the dog to settle in. 👍👽

You kind of have to have a cage like that for a puppy this age, at least till it gets aclimated to the house. Last thing you want is for your pup to get up in the middle of the night and get lost under the sofa.
