Great vid and first mods! On my 2016 Challenger Blacktop Edition I've done the stainless pedals as well. You're right...the factory ones are different than those any dealership orders. That's just how it is and not sure why honestly. Btw, Quikparts is usually pretty good...sorry you're experiencing hassle. Lastly, keep up the work and be sure to link any parts you buy...it'll help others. ;) PS, I've done a few other mods, so let me know if you need any advice. Btw, regarding those DODGE letters you can order OEM colors of them to match any Challenger color but warning they are expensive. Just keep the chrome as I have done and I promise you'll get used to it.

Car looks great! I'd keep the Badges chrome to match the hub cap chrome and Fuel cover. And please, don't fall into the carbon/black hood hype. Your car is beautiful as is!

keeping it chrome would be good so it matches the exhaust but personally i would plastidip em black too! it just looks hella meaner like that imo. but yeam, maybe not yet since it's such a new car and the chrome give it that new look

I'm sure you've already looked but it does look amazing with the letters removed if you do the job right, it looks like the car came that way and it looks much cleaner so I know you mentioned you didn't want to do that but I would think about it

I dig the side marker mod. Try not to spend too much on mods up front, get that car paid off asap first. Make extra/larger payments if you can.

You did prepay the payments. It will report to the credit bureau. If you make payments anyway, you'll just pay it off that much faster. Or buy mods :)

hey BTW, if your Challenger is already equipped with the remote start system but just don't have the right key fob, you can download the uConnect app on your phone and start the car that way and a lot of other cool things too. Have to register, You get a 1 month free trial to try it then after its like 10 bucks a month. I use and its pretty sweet

Really nice car bro, I had a red 2015 challenger sxt plus that had some good mods done to it before I sold it. 1st thing I did was straight pipe the car, made it a little louder and also changed the exhaust to quad tips. I took it to a shop to paint the hood black and bought different rims for it, made it look alot nicer. Also there are shops that you can take it to get the dodge letters debadged. Good ride man you gonna love it once you keep adding parts to it.

Murad Murrad straight pipes sound awesome. but unless you have supporting mods like headers intake and a custom tune...the fact that you removed the mufflers...you lost back pressure which is crucial. most of the time you straight pipe a car or truck...you don't gain much horsepower but you do lose torque. Fyi. coming from a mechanic s standpoint.

Evan Bozajian Yes I had cold air intake installed and it wasn't much of a difference after straight pipe I didn't notice any lose of horsepower. I sold it and saving for a scat pack right now and if not scat pack a used hellcat will be my 2nd choice.

Murad Samii you won't really lose horsepower. it's torque you'll lose. but you don't have it anymore so who cares right ? ;-) good luck on the scat pack or hellcat.

Murad Samii who cares how long it takes. as long as your patient. it'll feel real good once you accomplish it. it'll be all yours. and doing it by yourself makes it feel that much better. in a couple years i want to trade my RT in for a Grand Cherokee srt. if i got the track hawk Cherokee that's powered with the hellcat engine I'd think I'd get into some trouble. an suv with awd and 470+ hp is enough for me lol.

Just take off the dodge emblems in the back go to auto zone get M O P A R emblems and and paint them black before you install them Paint your exhaust tips black. Tint your taillights Install the SRT front lip on the front Get a nice wicker bill on the rear spoiler Lowering springs 275/40/20 in the rear and keep your stock tear tires for the front anyways you can also find 275's used pretty cheap on Craigslist. Get a nice air raid intake 350-317 I have one if you want it I'll beat the price in $100 hit me up

Dboy Thank you and I don't know what percentage it is exactly the dealer did it before I bought it, I would guess it's the Arizona legal limit of 33%, which I would've definitely gone dark or if I had the option.

Why even do mods to the V-6 Challengers? A cold air intake and removing the mid mufflers isn't going to add much horsepower to the car. You might gain 2hp from the cold air intake and maybe 1-2hp doing a mid muffler delete. Adding a Borla Atak exhaust may give you 10-12hp and a nice throaty sound but the only way to get lots of hp is to supercharge it. Horsepower costs money.

What tire shine is that

The dealer screwed you on those pedals the OEM are a lot more expensive and he just slapped on some after market junk on your car.If your car was supposed to come with the factory pedals and didn't it's on them too put on the OEM pedals don't let them BS you into accepting the after market ones, you paid for OEM.Get in there and make some noise.

Most fokks don't realize they charge interest from day one and they are told they don't have to pay for 6 months, but they are acruing interest for that six month period, so their first 3 to 4 payments are just paying for the interest nothing to the principal

Matador Hernandez yeah I've been thinking about doing that, it just depends on what you're looking for.. these 2017 RTs are just as loud as the scat packs now cause they come with active exhaust now and they can be straight piped for even more sound, scat packs are pretty much the go fast cars I got an rt so I can be just as loud but I can floor it all over the place with out killing myself in the process

D4rth Hemi very true, i have the same car and year, honestly everyone thats been in my car has said it is fast, sure the scatpack is faster and can keep up with some pretty fast cars, but like you said, you can floor it everywhere in an rt which u could prob do in a scat pack but youd be going so fast it would be dangerous, same with the hellcat, if youve never driven a RWD muscle car you should get the rt, a lot more forgiveness if you dont respect it and also, the scatpack comes with the same tiny 245 tires UNLESS you get the new dynamics package to get the 275s the scat on the small tires is like driving on ice, but always test drive a car before you buy one man! Thats what sold me on my RT! I did ONE freeway pull and i was SOLD. The 8 speed for 2015+ makes a world of difference, keeps the rpms higher compared to the old boggy 5 speed! Dodge all day, they make the rawest cars out there.
