I own a sxt plus just like yours but with red line paint and the 20in wheels. As of Thursday I purchased and installed the magnaflow completion series cat back exhaust system and it sounds awesome now. I highly recommend 👍👌

This is from the AFE website. From the dyno sheet. They used a 2015 Challenger SXT. Before- Max Power = 265.54 Max Torque = 235.54 After- Max Power = 275.79 Max Torque = 244.23

Damn that V6 screams when you get on it. Hell who needs a V8, use more gas, and unless you plan on racing it all the time a waste of power. If I ever buy a Challenger that's what I'm going to get is the V6, because I'll never race it, it'll get better MPGs and has more power then the stock older Challengers with the 318 V8s, so it'll be prefect for me.

@Mikeman Jordan yeeee I own a 2018 challenger sxt but I wouldnt go as far to say that the car is fast enough. Its quick enough for everyday driving but when there is no traffic and a straight road all you want to do is put that pedal down to the floor and let it pull...the sxt dosent have enough power or sound to accually give that adrenaline rush we urge for. My reason for going with the sxt instead of soemthing higher was bc insurance was too high as im only 19 plus I drive about 60 miles a day so gas was a big factor in my decision. After college I will trade it in for a scat pack. Drove one when I was at the dealer and man that feels like an entirely different car.

Update.... I got a 2017 dodge challenger v6 sxt plus. Silver with dark grey rims. 35,000 miles used. I call her Bullet. I love this car more than life.

I need to find some streets in a neighborhood like that for some good 0-60 times and traction control OFF fun. 2015 SXT and getting the K&N 63 Aircharger CAI and throttle body spacer.

You should try launching it. Hold down the brake pedal and rev it up to about 1000 - 1200 rpms for a decent launch. I can get as low as 5.8 on my 12 in cold weather. Lowest was 5.65....which is impossible to do again ha ha. But, I have the 5 speed auto and you have the newer 8 speed which is miles better and quicker than the 5 speed.

I will do a few videos on my charger rallye I have had her since may I need to get those performance pages lots of good detailed info. Cais only help a little, but not enough to grant worthiness for the price too expensive. I just ordered my solo exhuast so I will review it proper when I get it installed.

question- do you remember what temperature it was when you timed it with stock intake? Temperature makes a HUGE difference... Shaving .4 seconds sounds crazy. You would need 50+ hp gains to do that.

Not bad at all for a six, and like the octane red paint. I've got one of those as well, but is on my srt8 challenger and really help them breathe much better. Especially when paired with good exhaust and replaced mine with 3" SLP loudmouth cat backs, and sounds hellish now. Love Ram trucks to, and subbed your channel. Mopar or no car 🤟🏼

@@eddie-eapple5533 well if you're into the sound this intake isn't for you since the housing limits the sound of the intake. I would suggest one with just a heat shield. But otherwise, it makes up with good gains. Pair it with the carbon fiber air inlet and you'll get the most gains

I have a 2016 and I can't get better then 6 flat. The intake really doesn't do anything with just the intake in. Still tho looks bomb and love the color mang.

i know this is an old post but if anyone could shed some light that would be great. I get a very low whistle at idle and when giving it gas a weird rustling sound almost like leaves blowing in the wind it is odd. This sound normal? could it possibly be from something else other than the CAI? seems to be coming from right where the throttle body is.

I just got a 18 GT Charger AWD. I'd get this intake but I feel I'd rather put my money towards a RIPP supercharger after I realized this wouldn't be compatible with it.

Does this AFE intake is better then OEM Mopar or K&N ??

What exhaust set up do you have man?

Do you have to have after market headlights? Or did your SXT Plus come with the headlights with the hole in them? When ordering on Car ID it is telling me will not fit with factory headlights.

Your times will chage with different ground levels , i have a k&n intake and solo performance exhaust , at a road near my house i did 5.8 and near my girl's house i can only get it to 6.2 im guessing diffrent altitudes?

I have a challenger to and I believe it does not void warranty but if you have engine complications and they can prove its related to the intake warranty does not cover. This what i have heared but not possitive. Dont have intake myself so not entirely sure.

It really just depends on the dealer. Mine said I can get any performance part from the dealer and not void warranty, but I will ask them again so I can stay on the cheaper side of mods.

The02CumminsRAM but what if God forbid you get in a wreak , and your insurance only pays the actual cars value , and since you have no gap your still required to pay the car note ? Dodge depreciates badly

Clearly, the dealership didn't explain GAP insurance to you. GAP only covers the diff between the value of the car and value you financed. So if you finance a brand new car with very low payment, if the car is replaceable at 20k and you owe 26k, they'll cover the gap. If the loan is 15k, and they want to pay you 20, you get 20 so gap insurance would do no good if you don't owe more.

It's an open air system. It sounds good but it's sucking in hot air from the engine bay. The hellcat or AFE is the better option.
