Bill said if he realized about Aaron's damage trigger, he would have targeted Jim instead of Eliot. He wouldn't have been able to, because Jim's Shalai was still on the battlefield giving him hexproof. He could have targeted Aaron instead though

Shouldn't Midnight Clock be counting towards midnight, not away from it? So 4pm, 5pm etc., not 4am, 5pm etc.???

Just pre ordered the Selesnya deck. That deck’s got gas! Plus, it doesn’t hurt that it’s like 85% the way to an Estrid deck

Glad to see the Kasla Precon in action. It’s definitely my favourite from the set.

I player it vs the jeskai cycling decks a couple of times in 1 vs 1. It dominated hard. 6 wins out of 8 games. But in a 4 player pod it ran out of gas quickly due to the removal.

I think it's obvious that Jim should not be allowed an enchantment precon. He definitely has a strong win rate with them. Lol

I like how you add in the text box explaining a misplay etc. It is a seamless way to clear up tjings, good job.

Eliot could have triggered the scriptures in his end step by using phyrexian ghoul to kill the compleated huntmaster, proliferating with Brimaz and clearing the board.

I think precons have gotten much better since 2016, even some of the ones with more iffy manabases can often still be powerhouses. So many people talked about how bad the mana base in Ur-Dragon was, but I still won 4 of the 6 games I played with it before I changed it. I never had any real issues with mana being a problem.

Enchantress decks just scratch my Itch. Once you get a couple of the draw effects up your set

They both seem like fun decks! I have a selesnya enchantments deck but is a bit different and this seems like a good time!

I think this one is prettig heavy on creatures tbh. So kind of ging wide. Not a bad thing in multiplayer

Lesson of the day: Never let Jim play enchantress decks. 😅 Joking aside, this was such a fun game!

If you have time can you play Ellivere in cEDH? She is an alternate Tadeas (Dhalsim) Commander that can scale damage like crazy on your Hate Bears with a much Higher Ceiling on Draws per Combat. Play Root Maze, add 5 Power to the Board. Play Stony Silence, add 5 more power to the Board. I’d love to see it! Great Game Everyone!

Just bought the Anikthea precon and already had a Sythis enchantress deck on top of that, so I think I'll be going for the Fae deck this time around. Just wish it had Bitterblossom reprint.

Kinda disappointed the new enchantment deck doesn’t come with all of the tokens you need (rabbit).

I love watching JimBob play enchantress decks.

do note: Shielded by faith is not in the Selesnya precon, but if you consider keeping Siona, Captain of the Pyleas in there, that's the first enchantment you should add to the deck because it goes infinite with her. the precons they have made lately are really powerful, if you play vs other precons, lets not pretend they are any higher than a 5-6 when compared to decks you build yourself. the mana base is still sub-optimal. they could easily throw shock lands in the new one ones, especially the commander masters ones which were twice the price. the commanders in these new ones are really cool. I really like the Faerie commanders. Alela is cool, Tegwyll is cool, there is a third one as well called "Obyra, Dreaming Duelist": Flash flying 2/2 Faerie for UB that says "Whenever another Farie enters the battlefield under your control, each opponent loses 1 life". so it's more of a drain commander. Oh and the precon comes with a hullbreaker horror too as well as kindred dominance. I really like the enchantment deck as well. seems really powerful if you upgrade the manabase to be a bit faster. like I said, lets not pretend they are powerful vs normal non-precons. they are very powerful vs old precons though. You should do a pre-con tier list video, where you rank all the different ones. it will probably be a couple of hours long, maybe 3, so maybe a part 1 and 2 haha

Spellstutter sprite is also missing in the faerie deck which should be one of the first upgrades for very cheap and on the discussion of infinites, the faerie precon unsurprisingly has an infinite, cloud of faeries and hullbreaker, who could've seen that coming? The more actually surprising part is it has a lot of pay offs for the combo, infinite creatures, mana to dump into Oona for milling and Obyra draining, the baldurs gate precon had nowhere near the same consistence with payoffs. Honestly the deck could be pretty decent with a few upgrades considering you have a baseline for closing out the game

Love the way you play the game, dont like watching cEDH because of the infinit combo ends but Ill be searching for the cassual games now

The role mechanic is actually 1 role per creature per player… in other words “No more than one Role controlled by the same player can be attached to the same creature at the same time.”

@@wumpmas2 also, the reminder text states “if YOU control another role on it, put that one into the graveyard.” So you can in fact have more than one role on a creature, but the controlled token must be from different players. So if a opponent places a cursed role on the creature your aura with not be sent to the graveyard.

I was really expecting Elliot to sacrifice a Phyrexian so he could proliferate the Scriptures at end of turn and nuke everyone before they could react 😅 EDIT: Oh, I see he did it the second time. But WRONG. And after losing 14 life. Shame on you, Eliot. Game loss, but not for breaking the rules! 😂(That's me being cool!)

You cant convoke with summoning sickness so at 11:35 he wouldnt have been able to play that loxodon with the elementals
