Walk through the pens for a first look at the Wild Horse & Burro Adoption event in Springfield, Ohio. This event was a pick up site for the January Online Corral (an online auction) and also had about 29 horses available for adoption. This walk through showcases all of the horses at this event, right before the loading began. I was particularly excited to see one of the curly mustangs here that we saw in my January Online Corral video: • THE ONLINE MUSTANG AUC...
INTERESTED IN ADOPTING A WILD MUSTANG SOMEDAY??
..I HIGHLY recommend you watch/listen to these following videos. While these may not be the most exciting videos, these are ones you need to see if you are indeed serious about adopting.
1.) • Could bodywork be used... - this is a longer video, but worth the listen. Here I interviewed the bodyworker, Jim Masterson. He is known worldwide and is the founder of the Masterson Method, which is an integrative form of bodywork. Here he shares valuable insights that I believe every adopter needs to hear!
2.) • ARE YOU READY FOR A WI... - before you adopt, it is so important to consider if you are actually ready to take on a wild mustang.
3.) • BLM Mustang Adoption E... - this is another adoption event in New Hampshire, but in it is a TON OF INFORMATION on mustangs. A good starting point.

I have the Pen 6/ 7 Year old Cremello Gelding
I saw my boy!!!!! He was in the first pen the bay, the one you pointed out ❤️❤️ thank you so much for this!!! I had to look a couple time because he looks so different from when we bid on him!!!! I’m so excited to pick him up tomorrow thank you so much for this!!!!!!!!!!

I used to live in Ohio I didn't even know they had something like that there! There was some beautiful horses there.
I love that we can follow events along with event with you. I’m so excited to actually go to the NH pick up!

Found my boy, too! He makes his first appearance at 4:51, gets in a good scratch at 5:11 (😂) and pops out from behind his buddy at 5:36. His name is Nevada and he is shedding out dark, keep your fingers crossed for me that he is a blue roan! 🤞🤞

Oh I'd love to, but probably not. I'm rather last minute when it comes to these trips, trying to manage the costs😅 Most of my trips come together super last minute.

I just saw one of those yearlings pop up in a Facebook group. I've been wanting a Grullo so seeing so many in your videos gives me hope that when the time comes I may get a chance. I don't mind if I have to get a yearling and wait a couple of years to be able to ride it. I love all colors so I can get an 4-6yr old to train and ride until it's old enough.
This is so interesting, particularly because I am from Spain and we have no events like this!! Thanks so much for your cool content!!

2:08 I love that mare chilling on the floor. The curious one at 2:54 is lovely too. 4:51 Gray gelding 🤍 6:32 Cremello gelding 🤩 Little mare at 10:04 is super cute. 😍 ...and so is the one at 10:13 calmly munching away.

Thanks for putting time stamps haha! Sometimes people talk about a horse, but I have no idea in which part it is! lol The napping one was napping again when I left! I hope she got a good home - she seems like a sweet one.

@@TheProjectEquestrian 😁 I am window-shopping for horses, hence the timestamps. I cannot possibly adopt any of them to Hungary but I do enjoy watching them. I hope all the horses go to good homes to be cherished all their lives. 🙏🏼

The online adoption should be happening every single week. It's crazy that we have SO many thousands of them just spending their lives in pens. They need to get their program restructured. Such a waste. Thanks for sharing!

there is not nearly enough people working there to make that happen; the logistics as it is are a nightmare

@@casdragon_5939 They are now paying people a grand to adopt the horses. That money could go toward paying someone to walk out to the corrals with a camera. And they just got allocated MILLIONS by the govt? They can definitely afford a person taking pix at each facility. Their planning just sucks.

So many incredibly beautiful horses. Is it just uneducated me or do some of the older ones look a little thin around the hindquarters? Are Mustangs coming from the wild or the holding pens just a little more slender in general? Also I was wondering about the sweet one that was checking out your camera. Is that unusual to find one so willing to get up close and personal with a person?

They are usually in holding for a while. These horses have come from California, stopping in Nebraska to rest and continued on to Ohio. I think it’s pretty common to find a couple with overwhelming curiosity. Every event I’ve gone to has had at least one!
