Boat walkthroughs and reviews on youtube really needed a fresh set of eyes and a slightly different take. Really glad you're doing this. And she is a beauty, my favorite Sirena is the 88, but within realistic options, that spot might go to the 68. Great review, keep it up.

Since we aren’t specifically working the booths at the show, there is a little more time to explore but a boat nerd like myself will pretty much gravitate toward the water and the boats, especially in a setting like this. It’s all about studying brands and styles. What’s new, what’s coming, etc.

Love your walkthrough. There aren't many who do thorough walkthroughs! There are usually certain things people are looking for in boats and most don't cover it on their videos. Have you driven the 68 yet just wandering how she handles . I'm kind of interested in one but I'm also waiting on the 78 . I love the fact that they are ce a class boats. I don't really like class b boats because they limit you to much and full displacement boats are to slow. I like the ability to get somewhere faster in an emergency but Also being able to just cruise slower most of the time.

@@ElevateYacht I am a 100 Ton Master so anything between 60' to 90' I'm really interested in. I liked your tour! Many giving a boat tour aren't very technical and the tour winds up being a "closet" tour. It's nice to show a few drawers and closets enough to give the viewer an idea of how well the boat is made and laid out, which you did. I liked how you started out at the business end, the Helm station, and stated what kind of engines we're dealing with. A few more details in that area would have been nice too, like a cruising speed of 16-18 knots and burn rate/range and max speed of 28kts {whatever}, but overall great tour. I have subscribed to the channel, however, being a retired Navy Cheif, I tend to be "picky" on the terms you may use. On a vessel, we don't go downstairs or upstairs, we go "Below" or we go "Topside", the walls are "Bulkheads" and the floors are "Decks." So if I may offer any advice, please speak "sailor", brush up on some nautical jargon. This will add greatly to your credibility, as a sailor and yacht salesman. .. She sure is a beauty! Unfortunately, she is quite a bit more than the 1.5 range. She’s got a smaller sister in the 58 that will be within range of that. Full walkthrough of the 58 coming in the next few weeks. The 2022 Prestige 520 Fly is well within that range. Check your email on that one. It’s deal time for her.

Wow. Was that a rainfall shower on the central black post on the flybridge by the bar area at 5:54? Yes it is. The floor drain is right underneath at 6:33.

Very valuable reaview. Also been thrilled about the Sirena 68 and Beneteau Grand Trawler 62, but couldn't make it to Cannes. It appears to me that the 68 is more of a revamp of the 64, with an update and upgrade of the interior layout and a notable and worse reduction of the engine room. Do you mind providing also a walkthrough of the Grand Trawler 62?

You have done your research! The addition of forward facing seating at the flybridge and lower helm are great additions in my mind. I too was expecting a much larger engine room, similar to the Sirena 58 (which I have a video coming for soon). The massive crew quarters design on this vessel is what eats into the engine room area. It could be larger if you went with a different layout in the crew area. I’d personally go with the laundry/storage layout. Even though it has a “smaller” engine room than expected, it still offered more than enough room to move around and perform all maintenance. Thank you for watching and for your good feedback!

Very impressive boat and a really nice walkthrough, the helm impressed me the most. needs a wing station on the starboard side also though, its all fly by wire now anyway isn't it ?

There are a few reasons they only put the cockpit docking station in that location. First, is the ease of molding it into the stairs. Second is the helm station on the flybridge is to starboard, so if you need to dock to starboard, typically you would dock from up there. I just docked this vessel, after our sea trial, in the very tight slip you see her in during the video, and let me tell you the vision from the flybridge when docking is amazing. You didn't mention that the forward VIP room has pocket door, which is a nice feature.

Everyone mentions the retractable top for more sun... They forget how nice the shooting stars are at night!!

I did not get a chance to do a video of that boat. A few things I find interesting - Sirena 64 has a whole foot larger beam than the 73😦 plus a larger master. The forward placement of the master in the 73, causes them to need a higher deck at the bow, in order to allow for more headroom in master. Because of this, there are 4 steps along the side decks to get up into the bow area. That seems a bit excessive. Thank you for watching and commenting!

Quite honestly, that’s my thoughts exactly. 78 is amazing but all that the 68 has and the fact that it’s a little more owner operator friendly, the 68 offers more bang for your buck in my mind. The updated walk in closet in the master is a home run

On the 68, I think the best spots could be the cockpit cabinet where the window retracts to open up the galley to the cockpit. There are two large doors on that cabinet, very easy to fit a large bin. On the flybridge there are tons of cabinets in the two bar areas that offer plenty of room for trash cans. Problem solved 💪🏼🍾

Is there any advantage to a port-side helm station vs. starboard?

Not really. Depending on where you prefer to dock and your permanent slip, it might make a difference which way you dock - stern or bow to. For flybridge models, or models with a cockpit docking station, if they are at the opposite of where the lower helm station is, it allows you do more comfortably dock any direction from any the location with the most visibility. Can you review the Cranchi T36 seems like the best boat in the segment, I WISH they would do a sportbridge version with a small sportbridge, it would be the ultimate boat for a couple people, why waste 1000's of liters of diesel when you're on a boat with 2 people almost always honestly IMO

What’s differences did you notice vs the older 64? Apart from the sun deck I couldn’t tell in the video?

The beam is the same, slightly longer LOA. There are definitely a lot of updates and improvements in the layout. Forward bow seating is greatly improved. The u-shaped couch is much larger and the forward sun pad has backrest so you can sit at the dining table as well. Flybridge and lower helm now have forward facing seating for the guests, which is awesome. Us captains enjoy some company too 😅 There are multiple options for layouts in the lower staterooms. The standard L-shaped couch just off the stairs adds a great “loft feel” and sitting area (note: this was not in the boat at the show, they went with the bunk beds instead). The crew quarters is unreal and can be used as a great “beach club” entertaining area. I could go on 🤣. The 64 was one of my favorite boats, so I had high expectations for the 68 and man did she deliver. Thank you for watching and for the great question!

Hard to believe that these modern FD yachts are not bigger than they are. Most 85 footers would not have had this amount of accomodation a couple of decades ago.

It would obviously depend on the owner’s experience or ability to learn but I would say an owner and their spouse could definitely handle and manage this vessel. That’s really the beauty of the Sirena brand. They are very large and spacious with tons of great entertaining areas, while still feeling very manageable for an owner/operator. Interesting and promising youtube channel which is similar to the Nautistyles and Aquaholic references (so continue in this direction) visit all the nooks and crannies ... we love it !. To stand out: Specify the range at cruising speed and at economy speed. Specify the price of the base boat. What people are looking for is to be able to imagine one day being the owner of the rare pearl, the boat with great autonomy, well equipped with 4 cabins and a beautiful cabin (area) crew, less than 24 meters and not excessive. in purchase and maintenance (therefore less than € 3 million). This is also why more and more people are turning to catamarans. Let me know what you think of this comment. A subscriber who lives in the south of France near the Mediterranean.

Sirena amd Bering just kill this segment. Azimut Magellano also does really good in this area, but if I had to choose a sub 90' yacht and not feel like I was missing out, it would be Sirena and Bering neck and neck

Nice, but could use an interior entrance to the fly ridge. You have 70 feet ~ Sirena does a good job but their design needs to be more mature. Interior doors are not gasketed. You did s great job in presentation! .

Thank you for watching and for your input! The reason they stayed away from interior bridge access to how much space that would eat up on the inside, plus it would greatly reduce the clear field of vision you have of all your surroundings.

It is a very nice boat and I really like Sirena line but I wish people would stop saying a area will fit so many people such as the flybridge table he says ten people if there all 100 pounds each maybe. but otherwise super nice boat

That capacity is active lifting capacity of the hydraulic actuators. Aka it can lift up to 1000lbs. When it is in place, it can withstand more. Hope this clarifies. Thank you for watching and commenting!

I have heard this mentioned for other platforms but I have not confirmed one way or another. I do plan to stick with a schedule of Friday or Saturday video drops but these last two videos were world exclusive first looks that no one else had released yet and I wanted to get the content out to you guys as soon as possible. The crew quarters are too small no breathing space if you don't have claustrophobia you definitely will get it. Plus in bad weather, there is no way to get out of that space, too dangerous.

Wow, not sure what video you watched but the crew quarters on this vessel is one of the largest I’ve seen on a vessel this size. There is a legit separate dining/couch space all in the same area. Typically, crew quarters are meant to be used when the boat is at anchor or docked for the night, so not sure they would be spending time in there while underway in bad weather, but if they were there are two ways in and out. There is no reason a 68-footer could have a head for each cabin. 4 cabins plus crew should have 5 heads. Poor design.
