Boy!!! Got to say when I think of "Premier Guitar", it's YOUR Premier playing that brings me back. Your engaging interview and review skills don't hurt, but this stuff, right here in this video, is some of the best on the web. Much admiration here, along with a little envy. Wish I lived in your neck of the woods so I could get to one of your gigs. One of my best old acoustics is a Guild, so it has a mojo for me.

I would like to see a video where somone put one of these up against a Gretsch G5420T or better yet a G5125T from the later 2000s when they had DeArmond Pickups. I also wonder if these have a sound bar something connecting to the front to the back like Gretsch does. I had/have ( never really play it anymore) a Ibanez Artstar AF75TDG-IV it was hallow with no tone post no trestle block and it howled with feed back and not super destorted or loud. I don't know of any place close by to check one of these out so I want to find out as much as I can via video.

If you go Gretsch go Electromatic instead of Streamliner. (South Korean versus Chinese.). Better quality and during the holidays Guitar Center has em on sale for about $680-$720.00. You'll probably have to have it set up elsewhere as I don't have much confidence in their services anymore.

@@docdeens4030 Thanks my friend. I looked in the F-hole and found it. This blonde Starfire VI is the best playing guitar I ever had in my 75 year life. After once having owned a music store in Laguna Beach, CA back in the early 1960s, I have collected more than a hundred of the highest end Gibsons of which I still have most of them at my house right now, and in terms of quality and playability none of them can compare with this guitar. I don't even pull them out their cases anymore. I can't walk past it without picking it up and playing it. I'm going to purchase several more of them just so I'll have them before Cordoba Music Group takes them out of production, that from my understanding will be soon.

Race is irrelevant. Guitars are mass-produced offshore in Korea, China, Indonesia, Mexico for a reason. Cheaper parts/materials are used and cheap labor employed. These factories can make perfectly acceptable guitars, but they aren't worth $1500. Similar guitars from these same factories can be had for around $500. Is this guitar really 3x better?
