Lever filler pens were already banned by schools way back when for fear students would pull the trigger/Iever on their peers.

@@MJFallout The only injuries I've caused with my own lever fillers (so far) are to do with a frustratingly painful tendency to somehow wedge the sharp tip of the lever right under a fingernail. This seems to be a special blood-soliciting feature of The Unique Pen lever fillers of a certain era...

Just bought this pen from Goulet. Going to be using this pen as a mini pen gun. 😂

So I can get a vac, a piston, and now a cartridge/converter? Why would I go to any other brand? Lol TWSBI now has everything a girls could need. Already made my purchase of both colors and can’t wait to get my hands on them to play with those springs. Very entertaining video loved the spring launching across the table made the whole video! Lol

@@pietertalens1256 I just opened mine and I was amazed. They cut corners for sure but provide so much! The box was simple, nothing fancy. Neither was the pen, for that matter, but there was beauty in its simplicity. And it was packed with stuff, and information. Somehow, I felt truly amazed. And I’ve bought some expensive pens. We’ll see how it writes.

I just bought one of these today and Drew, my man, you just made it a whole lot better! The good Lord knows I'm not even going to be writing with this pen now as much as I'll be seeing how far I can fling the barrel. Great video, thanks for posting

If the price is right, it can be a real competitor in the german school pen market. Lamy is still leader, but as their cartriges are stupid expensive, many are looking elsewhere

I really don't understand why people don't just buy a syringe and wash out the included lamy blue cartridge, and refill with bottled ink of their choice. Works perfectly fine for a while!

@@bigdhav Kids learning to write will be using these. I wouldn't really trust 5+ year olds to reliably use a Syringe/Converter withou there being a mess

@Ooh Kah You can get 100 Standard cartiges for 1.5€. Yoi can get 5 Lamy cartriges for that. It adds up when you use a cartrige a week. It should be noted only in the color "royal blue" though. With other colors the difference isn't that big

The joy you have with this pens rocks. It’s like the Nerf of pens!

When that converter flew off I laughed out loud! I’m so glad I watched this video before getting my own pen from Goulet. I would have done the same thing but with ink in the converter. Thanks Drew for saving my carpet!

Such an interesting pen, especially for twsbi. I never thought they would make a cartridge/converter pen since their piston/vac mechanisms are so highly regarded, but the converters that are included look to be very well built, especially for the price. It even has a built in converter launcher!

Waiting for other colors. I love my GO but this is smaller and has a clip. Will be interesting to see if the spring holds up. ALSO don't really need one and don't want to spend the money but it's good for the price since the go only has one way to use it but it's good and ink lasts over a month without drying out

I can’t believe I watched this entire video and not one writing sample is provided (but I loved it anyway and shared to my friends). Springs - yay! Drew is my spirit animal.

Drew did all the tests I'd have done if I'd been given the pen, so I feel happy with that!

Not sure how I'd feel about a metal spring sitting inside the ink. I think a spring should ideally be on the outside / piston-knob side of the converter; instead of inside the ink chamber? Nevertheless, the piston converter looks great.

I think this will be my first Twsbi! I need this pen in my life!

This is the first review that made me laugh out loud. Really laugh! I don't think I'll be doing that with my Twisbi Swipe! I got the blue one, a lovely deep shade. The nice thing, from my point of view, is that it doesn't cost the earth. It's a very good price. Love the pen! (And love your review!)

That's a great review! Now people won't be surprised when they "shoot their eye out" with the launching converter or cartridge spring.

ordered mine! I am hoping the smoke plastic in the body makes it into some other twsbi's as well. An eco or 580 with a smoke body would defiantly be something I would pick up.

I really love the fact that twsbi swipe seems to be coming with two converters.

I wasn’t going to get one of these, but now that I’ve seen Drew’s “launch” video, I need one so I can get ready for any upcoming competitions.

I would really love to buy this pen. I love the holder AND the fact I can hold a smaller amount of ink in it!

Extra Large Converters might be my favorite filling mechanism. If you happen to leave some Kung Te-Cheng in a pen for a year and the ink leaves a layer of cemented coating in the piston, you actually have the option of swapping out the piston/converter for other inks. I probably just need to clean that 580 with ammonia, but if you love to try crazy inks then the SWIPE is probably a top contender.

I love that you were terrified of piercing the cartridge on Brian's pen but eagerly sent the barrel flying across the room 😂

Loved this! More Drew + springs please. TWSBI missed an opportunity here to call it the TWSBI Spring 🤷🏻‍♀️ or Boing 🤔

I got a spring converter, one cartridge and the pen in my Twisbi Swipe box. I did not get the other piston converter 1:26 in the box, was that supposed to be part of the bundle?

I don't like the springs, but I guess I can just use the standard converter so looks like I'll be picking this up. Nice demo Drew!
