Hogwarts forever! All my inks this month are Harry Potter themed (mixed myself) in honour of return to Hogwarts! That is a nice looking pen. Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure!

Mine is a stub. Typical TWSBI chic. Love it. I need to decide between brown-ish and blue ink. Hmmm. What to do? Agree that Diamine Majestic Blue is solid contender.

Someone recently mentioned using Diamine Ancient Copper in theirs, and now I really want to try that combo! NOt sure if that helps you or not! :D

Beautiful pen! The bronze is pretty! And Eco pens are just so reliable! And I have not used majestic blue, but have many other blues from diamine, so I maybe I’m not missing too too much lol.

They really are! I am an Eco fangirl. 😂 you probably aren’t missing anything. It’s just another blue that has some red sheen 😂😂 I think when I got it, everyone was using it but it seems like people don’t anymore 😂 thanks for watching!!

As soon as I saw that pen my eyes went very wide and I unfortunately have to have it 😳. I have VERY many blues, but I have not tried Majestic blue yet. But I have to admit that most of my blues are tealish leaning. My favourite Diamine blue is Pelham Blue. One of my few bottles that show a significant amount of usage. 😊

Great video (and love your penmanship)! Question: is the bronze treated at all to avoid oxidation? I have raw bronze Kaweco clips and don’t like the patina (apparently I’m odd that way).

I guess I'm still brand new to the hobby because I haven't seen Diamine Majestic Blue in person. 😉 This is a lovely pen. Thankfully, I'm not attracted to TWSBI because I don't like looking through my pens; but the indigo and bronze combo is lovely!

I just got the pen, and haven't inked it yet. Majestic Blue is one of my favorite inks. (Like Akkerman Shocking Blue, and Private Reserve DC Supershow Blue - and a few others -- a good modern dupe for Parker Penman Sapphire, which was my ink of choice back when it was made.) maybe I'll put majestic blue in it to compare it directly to the Kaweco sport I have inked with Akkerman Shocking Blue. I actually don't own any TWSBI EF's.

This was my first Eco! I’ve resisted for soooo long, but when I saw this color combo, I knew I had to have one in a fine nib. Inked mine w Diamine’s Smoke on the Water, and it surprisingly writes smoother and wetter (just the way I like it) than my Diamond 580 Smoke/Rose Gold. 😅 This pen is just wow!!! 💙🤎

I got mine today. I ordered a Fine and had Kirk Speer grind it to a stub. I’ve not inked it yet but I’m leaning towards Diamine Oxblood or Writer’s Blood. Also looking at some of the dusty browns leaning pink.

@@inksplat same at second order, haha! I got the Golden Mask in the A5 to journal. I know most people in the previews said they found it creepy, but i fell in love with the backstory of it!

nice one, i might need to pick one up as my clear is cracking #mandamademedoit #wellnotyetbutmaybesomedayprobably i was thinking of trying a twsbi medium nib, that writing sample looks broader than i would usually care for but who knows

haha, I'm sorry...the inside photos were trash, so I took pics outside for the thumbnail. I will make a note to take future pens for an outdoor field trip in the video, lol ... thanks for watching :)

wow, that is a really broad “medium” - can’t say i see the appeal in a nib that fills a whole notebook page with three sentences of writing

It was also freshly filled, and this is a small notebook and I have big handwriting. 😂 but I completely understand, that’s why there are nib sizes for all!! Thanks for watching!!
