Absolutely fantastic. Great to see the Canadian support of Ford Racing with Multimatic and Scott Maxwell. I always fondly remember visiting MiniGrid in Toronto in the late 80s. The Maxwell's delivered a great experience at the store.

None of there new cars will win Le Mans though only the LMH can win overall. Maybe they'll win in the lower gt3 class.

​​​​​@@Jesko.The Ford GT won it's class (LM-GTE Pro) at LeMans running less horsepower than the street version because of BOP. The GT3 will follow that in 2024 with a GT3 win. The 800 horsepower, 200+ mph Ford GT Mark IV can't run in a 24 hours of LeMans Class plus it's not a hybrid.

Not likely. It seems the Mustang GTD will be their homologation racer. Not sure if Ford GT is still currently GT3homologated.

3.8L V6. Over 200 hp per liter. As powerful as an LMP2 car and probably weighs about the same. Also sounds like a flat plat plane V6, they might have changed to that, or maybe not, idk.

It looks cool. But sound has never been the strength of the 2017+ Ford GT, no matter what. I drove a few 3.5L Ecoboost, obviously not in the GT configuration. It's a great powerful engine, but sound is not one of it's strong points

If you knew your history, you’d know Shelby was a big fan of smaller engines. He said the 289 small block was better than the 427.
