Was analyzing the latest rendering: In trying to figure out the possible location, seen what seems like the Matterhorn mountain is behind the shade sail in the middle of the rendering 😁

I suspect the avatar ride could be the Shanghai pirates ride system

If it’s part of Disneyland forward I think this would be their first project if Disneyland forward gets approved

Its a share holders meeting not D23 . He also said possiable Avatar land listen. Dont get to excited. Also the Anaheim city council has not approved the expansion yet.

Man it would so cool to see all Aang doing his air bending stuff in real life

That would definitely get me to visit Disneyland again after nearly 20 years away.

Disneyland is already very magical but this would be a new level of magic. It's so exciting! Looks like Disney is stepping it up.

Listen, I like new things at Disneyland just as much as anyone but there are a few things to consider: 1.) Duplicating things across parks is lazy and doesn’t give each park a unique experience. Especially the domestic ones. 2.) Land scarcity is something Disneyland has to consider. We only have so much space to develop. Do we really want it used for an IP that isn’t even in their top 20 (based on all time box office gross earnings)? 3.) New ideas are possible! Tokyo Disneyland proves this! They tend to add lands that encompass general IPs that can be flexible and adaptable (eg. Fantasy Springs; all of DisneySea). Don’t get me wrong. It’ll be beautiful if/when it gets built but I think there could be better use for this land for other ideas.

I think *Bayou Falls* / Tianas Bayou Adventure just listened the outside portion now they need to work on the inside

I was thinking that area for awhile and I’m all for it, I wonder if this means we will get a underground tunnel or bridge from harbor to the esplanade I’m leaving more towards tunnel so it doesn’t “disturb” the magic but either way to do that they would need to put security screening on harbor or at the potential new parking structure, can’t be having unchecked people wandering over or underneath Disney, I can’t wait for D23 now, we have to be getting more details or at least more concept art, thank you for sharing the news!

One big thing is that, most of the Disney California Adventure side of that Disneyland Forward map, did show a LOT of Water featured in it, so maybe this does go over there. Also the fact that the mountain could possibly be that 300 ft tall structure we heard the speculation about too!

The garage and transportation center is planned to be located on the other side of Harbor Blvd.

I am sure the reason for talking about Disneyland is strategic because Anaheim will be doing the final vote for the expansion in couple weeks. Now with that said the use of the word "Possible" can be because if they do put it in Hollywood land they need more space. The existing land plot in Hollywoodland is small but if the expansion is approved Disney can push forward in developing the new shuttle area across the street and moving that away from the parks. This would allow them to expand DCA north and add a few acres of property. It comes out to about 9 acres. Of course if they want to move this quickly then it would go In the motorboat cruise area and sub lagoon. His use of possible is also purposely added because the concept art might and will most likely change. They are serious about adding the land but it all depends where they put it depending on pending approvals In regards to Utopia note the wording given, The question regarding it becoming electric was brought up because a question asked to them. Disney says they are in deep consideration and are looking at technology to possibly do this in the future. That is not a definite answer of it actually changing and in the near future it can come out that Tommorowland would get a huge change that would eliminate or completely change Utopia. Of course their goal is to add capacity and DCA is the park that needs it

I Think Avatar Land Most Lightly will put in DCA FIVE FIRES right wear Soarin or Paradise Pier formerly . Most unlikely in Disneyland.

This is Disney they have brand to protect it has to be grand and magical. It’s going to cost a pretty penny .

Prediction I think it's going to replace Grizzly Peak. Soaring is already like Avatar flight of passage just have to retheme it and then Grizzyly river has a big space with water and it seems like they are going to just retheme it to a navi boat ride. Then maybe redwood creek challange will be the same just add more stuff to it to make it look like pandora. It's the only land that doesnt have an ip tided to it yet and the space is right there. As much as people love Soaring I think it's going to be replaced just like Tower or Terror was.

There were rumors years ago that the *Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim* were thinking about moving to the Long Beach / San Pedro Area and may go somewhere else because the wanted a water front park like the San Francisco Giants ad Pittsburg Pirates. How wild would it be if Disney finally buys that area to break ground for WestCot. Reroute the Monorail or maybe get the Skyliner, that would be a better location Avatar and possibly Tron. The area you that you showed us, looked way too small (hard to tell since I have not been to Disneyland since around the early 2000's).

1. It’s not going to Disney Forward A. Encanto B. Moana C. Elementals/ Little mermaid(looking for the paperwork) 2. It’s planned to go into DCA . Soaring & Grizzly run/Red Creek area, it’s a matter of when End of summer 2025 after all current construction are done

Ain’t happening anywhere in the current parks

Looks like a takeover of grizzly river run and Ariel to me! They can’t take out the bus area until after the parking lots are built - which is not approved. They are announcing Avatar now - so this means that it’s not part of the re-zoning unapproved areas. That totally looks like the size of grizzly peak! If I were them - I would also make it Soarin over Avatar. That handles all of the thematic orphans of grizzly and Soarin and Ariel - I’m guessing the play area might go too.

DCA needs something like an Avatar land way more than DL across the way does. The park in Anaheim that premiered in 2001 still suffers from not being the stunner that is DisneySea in Tokyo, back in 2001 & still today.

Another land I’m not interested in. So much more where the resources can go.

dont fall for it... what you see is a blue sky "i need to save my job" announcement... they need to stop with copying other parks, make something no other disney park has

Am I the only one who thinks Avatar is overrated??? I don’t get it. The movies have great movie theater viewing but are average in the storyline at best. It’s not like Star Wars of Harry Potter where those are proven lasting franchises. Flight of Journey is overhyped. I said it. Navi River Run is lame. Does Disneyland have to be just like WDW? If so, that’s sad. Who is asking for this?
