LAB71 aims to follow in @CannondaleBicycles71 footsteps, as hinted at after the badge was seen on the pro race circuit.
Lab71 is said by Cannondale to reference the year of the company's founding in 1971. The brand has described Lab71 as the pinnacle of its bike offerings, but has provided very little information at this stage.
According to the list of UCI-approved bikes for 2023, there are three frame tiers available for the new SuperSix Evo. It is likely that the Lab71 version will be the highest tier, which will likely be the lightest - the Cannondale SuperSix 4 Hi-Mod. This is because Cannondale has promised that Lab71 bikes will feature state-of-the-art materials and manufacturing techniques, as well as exquisite finishes and a carefully curated selection of the finest components available. In other words, Cannondale claims that the bikes will have superior frames and components, rather than just flashy paintwork. It is yet to be seen if the top-tier Hi-Mod frame will only be available as a Lab71 bike.
Although Cannondale has not disclosed pricing information, it is likely that Lab71 bikes will be more expensive than the brand's current priciest offerings.

This is an opinion I don't hear every day. I'm tired of hearing people wanting integrated this, integrated that. 🙄 Hiding from the wind is enough, not mechanics.
@5:39 The design and colour scheme has started to grow on me. I actually love it now! As for the frame, I like how narrow it is! Narrow seatpost, narrow seat tubes, narrower headtube. LOVE IT! For context, I run 32 bars, measured C2C. I love anything and everything narrow. 🥰

i like the way thy decided to do the integration. One can still fit what ever stem one likes and still get a clean looking bike. that's the best way of doing it. I will never afford one tho

This is the only form of integrated internal routing I'm OK with. Shift and brake lines should just be hidden from the wind under the stem, not the mechanic.
That 105 Di2 build makes me regret Cannondale isn't offering the base model in a frameset only option (yeah, I know it's the top-tier carbon weave). On paper this looks like a solid training / all-purpose road bike platform -- decent tire clearance, no-fuss cable integration if you need to pack it up, smart Di2 battery integration, good balance between aero and weight, threaded BB, not overly aggressive stack to reach ratio. Would be even better if it could also support a round seatpost with an adapter.

Supersix owner here. Improved integrated cockpit design from 22 model, love it! Fat down tube, not a fan! So now Hi-Mod is the 'Standard' version and Lab71 is 'Higher end", will there be a lower version than Hi-mod? very confusing. Should just remove the Hi-Mod line entirely.
Pretty sure the high end version will have a nice super aero integrated cockpit.
Brake housing looked knicked lol.

PressFit Cannondales won't creak if they use a one-piece BB or most other BBs with a retaining compound. But nothing wrong with threaded.
I hope the UCI changes more rules so that bikes can stop looking the same. Eventually every bike will be aero + 6.8kg and look like they all came out of the same mold. I understand to be aero there's a certain shape and you have to use that shape because physics but it's getting to the point where you can tape the logo and no one will know what the bike is.
I'm shocked with weight with 105 , question how stiff is the bike 🤔
What's the price like hehe

Looks sweet. But best not to buy first... Let the sacrificial lambs help themselves to beta testing then get revision of gen1.
