@@Joxar_ actually no ex islanders have said the directors or producers have like decided who is choosing in order during recouplings not that they tell them who to choose. The producers will also sometimes tell the islanders to go talk to a certain person but they won’t tell them where they should have the chat or hide something from other islanders that’s a decision they make themself. When ekin kissed jay on the terrace and kept it a secret that’s was a choice she made not the people behind the scenes which she has also said

Joey Essex suffers from what a lot of men (and some women do). They say they want to settle down and find a person to marry, while not acting like marriage material themselves. They believe the hype about themselves and always want the next shiny thing. They sleep with lots of people, notching up large numbers, while getting older and older and older, until one day a decent person comes along who would make the perfect life partner and they have no interest in someone like Joey because he’s acted so cheaply and given his body so freely to so many others, he’s no longer the sought after person he thought he was. There is real class in not being someone who sleeps around. Your body is so precious, people who just let anyone ‘in’ just devalue their body and themselves. The ones I think who has acted with most class are Uma (particularly), and mimi. Uma doesn’t give her body away easily and Wil doesn’t deserve her, he doesn’t see the value she is & he will look elsewhere for sure and can’t be trusted. Jess is just rude & I can’t stand her attitude. I like Mathilda too.

The absolute state of this show now. Go back and watch old clips 500k-million views, amazing casting and funny people. Now we got the most dull side characters, all look late 40s, something about this show has completely gone.

I don't care for Joey either but there's no way to make what's going on between Mimii and Ayo interesting, because literally nothing is going on. They seem happy enough but that doesn't make very compelling TV. Someone kissing another contestant on the balcony right after he's told another girl he'd never do anything like that and tried to pretend to be shocked she'd picked him is infinitely better TV, that's just the way it goes.

They’re just chill people which is fine and great but nobody wants to watch that. It’s so dull. People want the drama it’s the whole point of the show.

Joey is so unattractive to me in every way, as soon as he came in the villa he gave me the ick. He seems to think he's the top dog or celebrity of the villa.
