First Look | 2020 Lincoln MKZ Reserve in Infinite Black with Jonathan Sewell Sells

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This is a very special Lincoln that is on the last run. The Lincoln MKZ has been a staple in the lineup for almost 15 years. It is still a fantastic vehicle that has a lot of space and a smooth ride.
The 2020 Lincoln MKZ has some equipment changes as Lincoln has reduced the overall number of trims this year. Last year there was the option of a Reserve I (200A) and a Reserve II (300A). This year they have combined those two in the Reserve (200A). Because of this some of your previously standard features on the Reserve II are now optional. These features are the Multicomfort seats with massage and the Elements package with ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and heated steering wheel.
The exterior (sporty) appearance previously available on the Reserve I is now available with the monochromatic package on the 200A in 2020. This is the last year of Lincoln MKZ, and at this point it is unknown how long they will produce it. I would imagine they would carry it longer than the Ford counterpart the Fusion, but I'm not sure.
Please comment below what you like best about the Lincoln MKZ. Thanks for watching.

dang, AWD 3.0 gotta be a BEAST, even without snow. Thankfully I don't have the snow and ice down here so they don't make a lot of AWD here in the desert, but I've got the 2.0T and it's still SEXY. Regardless of what type of MKZ you have, this car is the sexiest looking luxury sedan I've ever seen. The Lexus and other cars have supposedly better interior quality, but I'll take this exterior over ANY other luxury car, in a heart beat. It is GORGEOUS.

I just got a 2018 MKZ Select Shadow Black and I cannot believe I have a luxury sedan that looks this good. Sure, the interior may be outdated to today's standards, but it is the sexiest car I've ever seen in the 35-40k price range. Lexus grills are WAY too big, and Cadillac CT4 and CT5 don't look this good either. I will have the 2018 MKZ Select for many years, because there isn't a sport luxury car on the market that looks this dang sexy. I paid well over market value for mine, not only because of covid excuses, but because this car is indeed no longer being made. Wish I could have gotten mine for a incentive price, but I'm glad I got one. It is absolutely beautiful

I’m picking up mine tomorrow and I can not wait! I’m soo excited I’ve been wanting this car for a few years now… I definitely think I was overcharged as well so I’m glad I’m not the only one lol.

One thing I hate that American luxury vehicle manufacturers do is nickel and dime its customers. No standard heated and ventilated seats front and rear, some models have just a drivers auto up down window rather then all windows etc. Compare foreign luxury and see whats standard and what's not and how well they hold up over time. You'll see as far as luxury is concerned they're are ahead their American counterparts.

Hey Jonathan thanks for this review, it's perfect timing as I'm looking to move into something bigger than my current Mazda 3. Nice to see an interior in something other than that black. That two-tone beige and charcoal interior is freaking gorgeous. I'll pass on the black exterior though. I'm considering a Fusion also but I think I'd get an MKZ just to get the nicer gauge cluster. That old-school center speedo flanked by small lcd screens in the Fusion looks straight out of 2005. One recommendation - point out the differences between the Fusion and MKZ. Some of them are small but appreciated details, like the way the MKZ covers the underside of the rear package tray/speakers so you don't see the bottom of the speakers and the wiring hanging out. Cheers!

The MKZ is nice, of course if you’re wanting a new MKZ or Fusion, you better act fast. The end of production is approaching soon. I’m be glad to compare the two if I can get my hands on a comparable Fusion. Thanks

Whats the mileage and maintinence like on it? I’m in the market for something with good, comfortable interior and ride quality that’s going to last me a good 6-8 years. I saw a good deal on a 2019 but idk if I’m ready to bite the bullet yet, I don’t really know much about maintenance costs on this vehicle and all that.

Im on my second mkz. I always put the 9000 mil oil on it and change ir about every 7500-8000 miles roughly 3 times a year around 100 bucks a pop. And tires every other year about 1200$. Other than that nothing.

The 2020 in the video MSRP at $44295. I would run 87 octane (regular). The engine is designed for that.

If it's the last time they are using that model does that imply it is built to last? Would it be worth the investment to buy this car in the long run compared to dropping 900 on an old Toyota and putting 1000 dollars worth of new parts in it.

What? The grill is the best in the luxury series. One of the best grills you can get. 2013 looks like stupid wings....the full solid chrome here looks amazing. And it's not even oversized like the extremely big Lexus and Cadillac grills. Your taste is bad :D
