So awesome
I really enjoy seeing your side and then seeing hush side of it It’s been cool seeing you guys lil colab
Great video and what a jewel of a Lake. How big were these Kokanee, inch wise. 17-20” are true trophies. Also I’m glad you mentioned bleeding your fish while still alive. So many guides kill their fish then try and bleed them, much tougher and don’t bleed out that way
Man, that's a lot of Matts. Awesome video thanks for sharing.
Awesome video love watching you guys' stuff I'm new to Kokanee fishing at the berry is that the soldier Creek side do you tip anything on your squids
Man now you're famous being on the Hushin page! Great video and amazing success!
Wow this is awesome guys! I fish alot for kokanee in western montana and ours are small...10 to 11.5" on average....wish they were bigger but it's what we've got! I love the science behind target and trolling for kokanee!
Awesome! Love kokanee fishing like that on 🍓
I haven't had the boat out once yet this year. I don't fish, I watch you fish! TORTURE!
Found them. Big ones too.
Nice!!
Where on strawberry? Or soldier creek maybe?
First! Awesome stuff! 👌
Non-stop action! What a great morning Matt. The size is getting consistent. Double ups make it even better. Good to see your pops on deck with you. Gonna have to go over to @Hushin and see his version now. Great pointer on bleeding them out it makes the fillets tastier. So jealous of your cleaning station. Was this your BDay trip?
Question I would rater catch Rainbows or Cutthroat. Is it because they are better to eat?
Awesome thanks for sharing. If you don't mind sharing was this the soldier creek or main marina side? Feel free to dm if you do want to share!
Always enjoy learning from you. My question is this - when you are initially unsure where the kokes are, do you just stagger your lines at different depths? One at 15, one at 20, 30, 40, etc.? And do you have a systematic approach with colors? This is the one puzzle piece I'm hoping you can explain or direct me to another video in which you explain. I was at Fish Lake on Saturday. Spent half the time fishing for lake trout, but we still landed 4 kokes. Biggest was 19". You'll enjoy it when your tour comes to Fish Lake. Thanks.
What bait and scents do you use?
No Bubba electric? Nice job with pops!
Hey there really enjoy watching your videos. I was wondering something I see you and other serious Kokanee fisherman I watch have nice boats and are equipped with kicker motors as well as electric bow mount motors. Most of you favor the electric. I assume because it is quiet and possibly spook's the kokanee less. Or possibly the fact that the nice electric motors can pretty much drive the boat for you. All of those reasons definitely are reason enough to have one and use it. I was wondering if you have ever done a comparison or experienced a big difference in production of the amount of fish you catch when using electric vs kicker? I would imagine you have experimented in the past. Just curious if a kicker motor hurts your chances? I am new to kokanee fishing and have a small boat with tiller that I primarily use to troll with. So just gauging if that will diminish my chances greatly. Thanks for the great videos.
