When a charter plane is flying without passengers it is designated as a Part 91 flight. When that happens it gives the first officer an opportunity to fly the plane and hone their skills as they work towards the position of captain.
On this particular flight from Lakeland to Gulfport I had the opportunity be the pilot flying under the watchful eye of one of TRYP Air Charter's highly skilled and capable captains. Really awesome experience. #aviation #pilot #pilatus
