@@shyamsays3619 it is an aspiration. Plan is to generate enough profits from dedicated freight corridors, roll out 400 vande Bharat and then make it affordable for more people. GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME, GIVE THEM 3 YEARS PLEASE 🙏🏻 as of now, take it as replacement of Shatabdi. And ofcourse i earn well and i needed it. It's always full which means there are more people like me.

Indian railways have the most affordable prices. So compared to developed nation prices, Vande Bharath express tickets are quite cheap.

All bullet ( HSR ) trains are actually EMUs ( very few loco hauled ) So its not any jugaad Its a basic industry practice

What masterstroke? It travels because it has line clearance. Even Shatabdi and Rajdhani or any LHB train can travel if it has clearance. Once 400 Vande Bharat trains are on track lets see how fast they can reach destinations.

Everyone is so obsessed to be the fastest. But you pay exponentially more for diminishing returns on speed. That’s why i think this train is a brilliant project. More projects run in this way would benefit many people in this world, rather than the most cutting edge.

Ya, it's not fast by Western standard. But it can go upto 200 kmph (tested upto 180 kmph). Unfortunately, the pway infrastructure is not suitable to handle such speed.
