How can it push so much boost without any front mount intercooler??

They deserve this, so much dedication and hard work. From the best engine machine work and builders and tuner to the best chassis design and tuning. Excellent team from start to finish and a great inspiration to other Subaru tuners.

everybody talking about what's already been in the 7s first. keep in mind this platform is very rarely drag raced at this level. there's two dozen evos, per subaru at a performance level like this.

Ignorant. Says the guy who’s likely never worked on a sti. it’s just because Subaru’s are gonna cost twice as much to make the same power as evo’s. Also a lot of dumb young people have sti’s and think they can throw anything on it without a tune or forged internals so the engine go’s kaboom, but if i remember correctly evo’s have just as bad if not a worse reputation for blowing up when modified. The ej engines are actually quite good and are one of the few four cylinder engines that just about always make around the same torque as horsepower.

I saw the car as my father's car class was next and we went up to the team and they let me open the doors of the white bullet, holy shit those doors were as light as a feather.

I've been watching the White Bullet here on 1320 and as a Subaru driver it is an amazing feeling to see an H pattern flat 4 get into the 7s. Especially watching their progress through each video posted here. Drag racing, this was always my favorite Subie! Good shit White Bullet and team, I couldn't be more happy for you guys! Subie love from Hawaii!

Well, the thing is there is a 7 second EVO out there. Built by eXtreme-tuners and located all the way in Greece, it was the first EVO to brake the 7 second barrier running 7.884sec (298kmh, 185mph) in Malta. Currently holds the world record title for the fastest EVO 7/8/9 in the world.

Always remember that this subaru has a 76 mm turbo and a 6 speed h pattern that he has to shift all the way through. The evo is a straight dog box... hit it next gear. Give the subaru the props... the evo wouldnt be in the 7 with the h pattern...

@@dexlandia8041 I don't get your point. eXtreme-tuners evo is a 4 cylinder as well, maybe not H pattern, but still a 4 cylinder. In 1:45 he clearly states "the EVOs are trying to run 7s". At the time the video was released there was one and only one EVO in the whole world that was in the 7s but no one seemed to accept it, honestly, the still don't although it's an official world record that now is even lower (7,708sec). The comment was posted to let people know that there was an EVO running 7s at the time. Not to bash that woderful subie.

They are relevant because like Evo's and STI's they are a trubo awd 4cyl and proper quick. They were a huge influence in the tuning scene, they also share the 4G63 platform Evo and DSM.

epoxeclipse the difference is the amount of time in the US market. DSM’s have been here since the mid/late 80’s, sti’s got here on 2004. So the amount of R&D on DSM’s over STI’s is much more. So its like mentioning a brand new 4 cylinder car for 2018 and it making it to the 7’s in 2028 and then “oh, DSM’s did it first 20 years ago”

For someone to take an engine, that let's face is not really set up for huge HP numbers and run a 7 is amazing, they had every thing working against them , but they did it, and that is impressive

Obviously, that talon is running on alcohol, an auto tranny and a 82+mm turbo.. the white bullet was put in the street fighter class, a class where the car for the parts that it had was the underdog. We wouldve been competitive at the wild street class where the fastest car in that class was a AWD civic with 7.6
