Great tutorial! Thank you !! I find that when I leave curling wand in my hair for 20-30 seconds my curls last 2 days with the shark flexstyle ! I also use the Oribe texturizing spray and that helps too!

Hi I know this question isn't about the shark..but the air wrap..iv had one for 10 weeks now but find I have to do sooo many passes with the brush attachment to stretch the wave and frizz out , I'm wondering if it's drying my hair out?..do you find it's caused any dryness to your hair..my hair texture is like yours ..how often do u use it too please?

Hey 😀 thanks for your comment. I find that if I don’t let my hair air dry or use the dryer attachment first then it takes a long time to dry your hair with the styling attachments. I would suggest using the brush attachments to style your hair when it is atleast 90% dry. Then it’s going to be much quicker to style and you won’t use as much heat. My hair texture looks dry but when I use the curling barrels on the ends of my hair that’s when it starts looking bouncy and healthy. The Dyson has been the best thing I ever bought for my hair, no damage because there isn’t any direct heat, compared to using a curling wand. I will usually wash my hair and use the Dyson twice a week 😊

Do you have to turn it off with every curl? Also do you use a hairspray?

Hi Sara, yes, I turn off it before I release the curl each time. I didn’t use hairspray in this video, but I would definitely use a soft hold hairspray on the curls once they have cooled down, It would make them last longer. 💗

Hi Rasha. The dyson curls do seem to last longer. But I blame the shark brush attachment, because it straightens my hair too much, the shark curling attachments work just as good as the Dyson. But overall I do prefer the dyson curls.

Why are you fully drying you hair before using the wrap? Do the curls drop out?

Hi Nicola, I blow out my hair fully with the brush to give volume and straighten first, then I use the curling barrels straight after and it gives a nice blow out look and feel. If I dont do it that way my hair wouldn’t look good. The curlers also don’t dry my hair if I was to use them on damp hair and I also wouldn’t get the finish I like 😀 my hair would look flat if I didn’t blow it out first. I’ve tried all the different options and this works best for me
