That’s one we’ve still to visit! We love the Greek islands though so we’re always wanting to see more! 😁 absolutely, we’ll definitely have the cameras on and most likely be shedding a tear or two ourselves 😂

Gosh you take a lot of luggage for a short hol to Greece. I took my first hol to Greece with one small case and chose a peaceful island Paros and hired a quad bike. Stayed in an apartment in Aliki and can thoroughly recommend it. Went in mid September and it was so enjoyable. Unlike Kos it does involve flying to Athens and then a fast ferry crossing. Once in Paros you can visit by a very short ferry to Antiparos for deserted beaches and underground caves. One of my best hols ever.

4 June 2023: Just found your channel and enjoying your travels. Sorry for the boulder, yikes with the steps. Love the idea of ‘summer sunshine”. Your van appears to be very spacious. What a fun journey to Greece. Thinking of getting airtags for a trip in August. Not only for my check-in but to carry on to personal. In the event separated once I get to my destination with personal and carryon especially. What a fun trip despite the bit of turn around on the scooters.

We stayed in altinkum turkey about 10 years ago at my brothers appartment ! But not visited Turkey since then, but greece loads of times, wele Deffo try a boat across to Turkey this time though, we have lots of time to do it

Great to watch this been to Vathy a few times and will be there in August overnight. You can jump off the cliff into the water. Seen the dolphins a few times around the fish farms too.

We got married in Sorrento and it was fantastic to have a wedding in the warmth. It was surprisingly easy to arrange, and had so much more personality than a UK wedding, the locals were cheering and waving as we went along, the stalls were wanting pictures with us. It was fab. I can imagine they'll make it such an event for you in Greece too. It'll be great 👍

@@highlands2hammocks We got married at the Oceanis Hotel which is Psaldi just down from where you where I think heading to Therma. Lofaki is a great location for a wedding great views from their too . Its this side of the island too and not too far from Psaldi. Dont forget for Greece you need all your paperwork on the island in advance of your wedding and have to go to the town hall the day before to sign the licence as well

Winter Sunshine?????? The thermometer on the courtyard wall of my kitchen was definitely just below 40C.

I got them from Selectspecs.com and they are magnetic clip on ones 😁 also polarised! Very hand for photography as I don’t need to keep switching glasses every two seconds when out shooting
