We really didn't expect Green Island to be so different of the rest of Taiwan. Immediately, we really loved the laidback vibe of Green Island. There are a ton of things to do: you can rent a scooter and drive around the island, you can go snorkeling and scuba diving, hotsprings, etc. Join us for a fun adventurous day around Green Island ;)

In the old days, this island was setup to lock up prisoners. I have no idea it is so lush and beautiful! I want to go visit someday!

@@annehu2000 Not actual prisoners. It was used by KMT to lock up those who have different political opinions. Very sad! Thank God we are a democratic country now.

台灣東部真的很美，台東推薦海，台東的海及海底世界真的算是台灣最美的，花蓮則推薦山（太魯閣）真的很壯觀。 台東雖沒有花蓮太魯閣那壯闊的峽谷，花蓮也沒有台東那世界級海底景觀，但各有各美麗驚豔的地方。
Diving, eating, drinking, and sleeping, are the new "eat-pray-love".
When people ask me what is the best place I have visited, I will say green island without hesitate. It just so pretty and relaxing. I've been there for three times and I still want to go there.

海底世界拍攝的很細膩，解說也很真實！讓人看了好想馬上去渡假... 想起多前去綠島，那時浮潛就覺得好像在看國家地理頻道，海底的魚、珊瑚真的超級美..觀賞影片時，腦中突然閃起一個想法，很久以前因為綠島船班少，交通不便，所以大家首選都是墾丁，除了玩水上設施、浮潛外，交通容易到達是最重要的原因吧！相對地，墾丁的環境破壞程度就比較嚴重... 我們真的要珍惜台灣的環境資源，它真的是世界上有名的生物多樣性的寶島！

Enjoy watching your video while on semi-lockdown here in East coast of the States. Very envious! Brutal heat in Taiwan now during summer months . Be aware of heat stroke!
It's breathtaking! Your Taiwan series are great!Thank for sharing the adorable Ocean world! They are incredible! Go see the sunrise on the hill nearby the spot called "Chao-jih (Zhaori)hot spring "is a must, too. The sun rises about AM 5:10 this season. Get there before dawn (after parking your scooter, 10 or 15 minutes to walk up the hill ) . And do be careful when driving in the dark : ).Green island ( as well,Taitung ) are famous of starry sky in the summer time. If you like, you can go there in the midnight and enjoy the hot spring under the starry night.(It's one of the only three underwater hot spring in the world). Luckily enough, you can meet the Meteor Shower, then make a wish! It will come true!
Green island is so underrated and is a hidden gem! By the way, the Chinese title should be 超出我們預期的

@@NaickKim definitely not so good. India is in bad shape due to a multiple reasons. We are still staying indoor. I am happy that you left India early. It would have been a disaster otherwise. Taiwan is really great, and I am really enjoying the series. Could not see all videos as I will submit my PhD dissertation next month. I kept this entire series to watch after a month or so. I also added Taiwan to our bucket list. Stay safe...😀

Well Taiwan is a country and Green Island is part of its territory so the term of "Taiwan Mainland" is nothing weird. We call it Taiwan mainland in mandarin as well.

I have not been there yet, but this video has put it on my list for my next visit. There are so many places to visit in Taiwan. It is easy to go to the places you have visited before because they are perfect locations. I think sometimes nothing can compare to my favourites but then I get surprised but another place. It all depends on the time of year as well. Being Buddhist vegetarians, we find Taiwan has everything you could wish for.

For a moment, I thought I was watching the discovery channel. I even slowed down the KZread video speed to enjoy the scenery when the film was showing the drone images of the coastline. Then, the sea snake, colorful tropical fish, and the pair of extremely cute cuddle fish were so amazing. I truly love this Green Island episode! Thank you for making it! It is AWESOME!

Haha. The scuba diving gear is not too heave here. The bottles are quite light and the suits aren't thick so you don't need to add much lead. In Belgium we dive with equipment that is a lot heavier.

The Green island is very different from Taiwan main island , i think it’s nice and better that the island keeps the very organic distinguish unique taste of its own for the next generation . The “Green island serenade “ is very well known as well . I bet you both are going to miss the country when you back to Europe especially the mangos + the heat 🤣🤣

Naick & Kim so is in UK , even bananas don’t tast like banana here ! you can get very good natural dry pineapple and mango from there , and you should try Taiwanese beef/ pork jerky , they are just as good as Taiwanese sausages ! You are going to have more surprise when you travel to the northern Taiwan from the East coastline( hopefully you both can escape and avoid the earthquake , freaky frightening feeling 🙄🤗) after that you can try other islands like Pon- Hu and Jin- meng ( which means “ Gold door “ , the famous Taiwanese Kau-Laing wine from , ask the guy you met in Kaou - Shaung - Wes , he knows and loves the wine) and have to try the best green tea there and applying to be the guests of the Preston before you leave Taiwan ! ! Don’t come back to Europe , the pandemic is slowing down but still not safe to travel ! Have a lots of fun and enjoy the delicious food there 🍉🥭🍍🍌or maybe find a job there 😆

Always. Guess it's some kind of "benefit" that we Taiwan were so NOT famous, well-notice before this pandemic@_@ Hence, we still have this great water, great view with very little population. Well, Taiwan is too small compared to our neighbors, we really welcome all people from the world who really cherish the nature, instead of welcoming crowded tourists all over the beaches.....
