as someone with 8 years of trucking experience, I finally decided to get into flatbed work and even tho you werent required to train that construction worker, I appreciate your efforts. Not many drivers these days will go the distance so thank you Diesel Life! I currently drive an 18 speed pony-pup and haul GVW 63,500 KG or about 140k lbs.

Perhaps it should also be said the EPIC responsibility you take with the value of the machines at hand and the lives at stake that you clearly are aware of. careful adjusting the pressure on that pusher, I've never had one over 35 lbs. you almost need a scale to see the weight your putting on the ground and they WILL mess with your traction expecially in the rain !!!

Beautiful truck, and in regards to the pusher, with your pusher down you’re gonna want to run your 5th wheel slid forward so it’s over your middle axle, then adjust the pusher accordingly. I had my pusher adjuster knob relocated into my cab for ease of use, (non DOT compliant in some states tho)

I agree with ya more lighting is need at evening time

I didn’t look in the comments to see if any other suggested it but maybe you should grab a headlamp… nitecore, fenix, Olight, pietzl are a couple brands that make fantastic headlamps…Olight makes lights you can clip to a hat or use the magnetic tail to stick to the truck you’re hooking up etc in order for you to see your workspace. Just an idea. Be safe my man. Looking forward to the next video 👊🏾

our biggest is a 490 Kamatsu and it's just over our heavy haulers limit so we have to sub out to bet it moved, got a new single cheater KW and a 4 axel trail king but it's still just too heavy, don't know why they don't get a jeep???

can't you run a 10 ft. wide trailer in your state(Fl?) without any kind of special permits ? OR does this vary from state to state ?

The new Pete cost 3 bills ??. In 2020 they were 250 special out like that.

WTF you got a sleeper in the new Pete, the way I see it, 6 hour nap and get your ass back to work... I imagine that truck was not cheap...

Illegal to hook binder to the trailer . Only chain on both ends then you pick the slack with the binder .
