I don't know why I got nervous watching this. I guess it's because I'm imagining riding something like that, which I couldn't do. It looks so fun!!!

Hayes have more stopping power, but are harder to service and find parts for I think. The code RSCs work great as well, just depends how gnarly you're getting on the bike

Remy, I, like millions of others love and look forward to your videos. However, the position and use of the 360 camera you are using is not very flattering. First, the 360 camera does not shoot in 4k. While the video quality looks OK on a cellphone at 720p, it looks bad on a 4k or even 1080p tv. TV watching was announced by KZread as the biggest increase in viewership in 2023. In addition, the warped video is really bad and tough to enjoy. It’s really hard to get an accurate perspective on what the trail is about. The 360 camera also can’t keep up with the speed you ride at.This causes a lot of distortion and blurring. Finally, the helmet mounted position of the camera is perhaps the biggest issue. The camera is way too high in that position. The POV is always looking down and when it should be looking forward. The best mount is the chin mount. The second best is the chest mount when it comes to mountain bike riding. You would have much better video quality, with a much more user friendly video if you switched to a new action camera and ran 4k 60fps with a chin mount or chest mount.

These are some good feedback. I find the quality of the 5.6k really impressive. 60fps just looks very weird unless slowed down. I use the GoPro Max because it allows me to also cut for vertical footage if needed. I will take your feedback in consideration though.

On the contrary, Remy’s videos are the only ones that capture the steepness and really allow for full immersion. Narrow angle and lower mounts don’t do these trails any justice.
