The bottom end is solid, the heads are the "delicate" part and my hypothesis is that many people run sub-ideal fueling (the aerocarb adjustment is too coarse and the needle adjustment method leaves way too much room for error). The heads then end up running too hot. However even if you replace the heads every 100-200 hours it's still very economical and really easy to do. I installed a wideband O2 sensor and got the fueling dialed in perfectly and redid the baffling to be very tight - my heads run cool. Overall it's really simple, strong, and makes great power to weight. It's easy to over heat and overstress, you need to pay attention but if run properly it's a simple, reliable engine.
What transponder with adsb did you use?

The Trig TT22, it had the TT21 and I sent it in to get upgraded to ads-b out (i.e., the TT22).
