That side glass is heat treated or temperedand will explode the first good wap af it so don't even try it unless you want to clean up glass everywhere if it was laminated I.e a layer of plastic sandwiched between two pieces of glass that you can cut

Have you thought about stretching the front of the roof to blend/but up to the metal drip edge, would look slick imo. I've never seen a chopped fiberglass top blazer. The closest was a neighbor years ago that chopped and shortened a 66 suburban to fit on a K5 Blazer chassis, 66 Blazer with barn doors looked pretty bad ass and Ive never seen another like it.

Have to give all the respect in this world to this guy right here. Pushing boundaries, taking chances, setting the bar higher for everyone else... That's not just limited to his choice of footwear...🤠
It’s crazy to me that someone can do such an extensive build in small little shop like that. This is gonna be another great one by Casey
I know the didn’t make the blazer till 69 but I’d love to see a 67 front clip and ditch the marker lights on the back to match. Just my crazy ideas. It looks great just the way your building it.
I have been in to custom trucks for 30 years never seen a chop blazer top .. so cool
So fuck awesome!! You are a true artist.. cherish the time you have with your Dad…

Thank you, and i do not take it for granted
Casey, your Dad is pretty cool 😎 👍 and fun. Man, your Dad made it look easy for the win. All that wisdom and experience. Way to go guys!!!
The Mega-Man boots took me out 🤣. I’ve only seen celebrities where them. To see you actually working in them is beyond hilarious!
Man this is my dream build and didn’t even know it 😅
Your 15-20 years experience shows - you just jump right in and do it. Great work, man. Isn't the back of the cab sticking out too far? Exciting watching you work. How about a sunroof to get some light in the back?
Came from FB shorts, and just happily watched a thirty minute video. Sweet channel !
In highschool my older brother had a Chevy luv with 4 in chop top with a shorten bed, it also had a fiber glass canopy/ camper shell that was chopped to match. Cool part was the t top on truck
Choppa style chop chop choppa style 😂
I love the creative way you put the top back together!
Damn this is coming together! Love watching your builds!
That 73-75 roof never had a full door. They were made like the 69-72 k5 doors with no frame around the window.
Not sure why but every time I see this thing from the side, I see a blower motor sticking thru the hood. Love watching your dad work definitely tell he’s got some time in his skills. Respect for cutting this top, taking risks, and pulling it off.
Awesome content Love all the hard work Great build series
This thing is gonna be rad! Cool idea man
i love watching this come together. Great job man!!!
I figured the contest between you and your dad= Casey faster, dad better work. Dad for the wins!

Looks sick, I didn’t think I’d like this that much. Great work!
Yes very sick man and the top is beautiful😎
I’m impressed. That year top shouldn’t even be close. That turned out great!! I agree on the chop, it’s just the right amount.
This build is coming out incredible.
loved watching you build your fiberglass top!! one of a kind !! look forward to watching more videos soon!!

@@CaseysCustoms can't wait to see that one
It's nuts, its crazy, and it's unconventional great build. Make it your way and have fun building cars. Love the content always entertaining, can't wait to see the end result and more on the mustang.
Hell yea FN LOVE THAT BLAZER I WILL WIN IT AND DRIVE IT EVERYDAY
A friend of mine body swapped his 72 k5 onto a nbs frame and he chopped his. Looks sweet for sure. Good work
Casey I used to repair semi hoods and fenders all the time. If you dont want to get itchy use air tools with a water hose with a mister on it pointed at your work. The dust cant fly when wet. Plus when your doing repairs of busted fiberglass the water will show how big the area is actually cracked out.
I know I am late for this but what we used to do was put short peaces of 1" square tubing on the inside of the pilors and screw them in place with screws from the outside
I chopped my first 74 back in the 80's. Lots of metal reinforcement in the top.I didn't a 4 1/2" chop, wish I still had pictures.
Perfect amount of chop. Looks great like it came from the factory like that.
Dude!!! That thing is badass!!! Great work!!
Bro fiberglass is fun fyi if you ever get resin on your skin Hand sanitizer takes if off super easy I love doing fiberglass work i love doing custom fiberglass interior design like door panels and dash boards and ECT love your work bro keep it up
Sweet build Casey, the Blazer looks rad with that chop!
Back in the day I used to cut fiberglass inground fiberglass wearing shorts and no shirt but then again I had the opportunity to jump in the econfina creek afterwards and it was great it was cold but the Coldwater got all the fiberglass off
To many people chopp way to much this looks perfect.
Man thats goin to be sick bro everything you have been working on and modding seems badass..
Really cool project, I love your excitement. Keep up the great work.
Loving the blazer build Casey 😊
I like the angle of the newer top on the older body.
That looks good!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
My brother IN law used to work for a company that invented some sort of super fiber glass that they used to used to brass up parking garages and the California bay bridge. I had a few 5 gal buckets full of the liquid fiber glass and rolls of the fiber glass netting. I used it on a car I did not like sanding the stuff it stuck everywhere. I could have made a top with the stuff but I didn't have a Kustom I was going to make a convertible out of.
Yep
That looks great. Great job man.
Great chop enjoying this reel
😂😂😂. Love the videos my friend. This project is really cool. It's coming along nicely so far Cassey. Can't wait to see more videos soon my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God Bless.
love your vision and creativity wished I could use that on my 53 burb project
I think this would look badass with the roll bars in it where the rear seat would go of course chopped also
Does blazer project It's going long but it is a lot of work. Keep it up can't wait to see the final product😊
Dude you're awesome af. Love your vids
Bro I love it !!
Yea.. in San Antonio TX back in the 80s... it was a low rider... with a chop top...been in the low rider scene for decades
I kind of wish you didn't give a boot disclaimer at the beginning of the video, just let people that didn't see the last video question what's happening
Man that is really awesome good job
Amazing progress
Badass look there man!
That is looking so cool man.
Very cool!!! 👍👍
There was one here in Salt Lake City. A body shop owned it, I think It was their parts runner. I can’t remember for sure but it got rear ended or rear ended someone and after sitting in their lot for a while it disappeared. It was definitely totaled
Those boots were so funny. I showed a bunch of people lol
Amazing!!!!!!!
30 years ago had a 72 chop top blazer channel on El Camino chasse
You learned almost everything you know from your dad but you want to compete in a bodywork competition? Brave man!
Amazing work
The stance is badass!
That's gonna be a sick blazer when it gets done bravo 👏
The blazer is really coming along pretty good bro💯😎
That's so amazing with your build good job that's so cool you are the man I have it
Casy your gonna get Stankfoot and it's only you to blame,🤔😆 oh, And that Blazer is shaping up 👍

Ty sir!
I went to your website, and I was shocked that you don't have "LET'S CUT SOME SH*T!" T-shirts. I need one, bro.
I really hope that you paint it orange with the white top! It will be frickin' awesome! Oh, don't forget about maybe installing those old school roof clearance lights! "YEAH BABY!" "SAA-WEEEET!"
That looks killer!
It looks good but I think if you would extend the front of the top and make it flush with the drip rail that way when it’s on it kind of disappears in the drip rail. The seam where it meets just doesn’t look good in my opinion and you have already put a lot of time so a few more hours won’t hurt and it would look really good I think. Cool build either way. I’m ready to get started on my 2nd gen Tacoma.
Oh man she is looking good my man. Drop top, slammed and bad to the bone!
That trucks going to be dope
You are a custom built car / truck pioneer. You are not scared to be the first to try a new thing.
Thanks!

No thank you!
A truck club down to earth guy had a chopped fiberglass full top like 8 yrs ago
You have my attention!!
I'm almost thinking you could have made your own top Casey out of round rod and sheet metal. Like a Carson top. I've been to rat rod car shows and people have made there own home made top. It does look COOL AS HELL THOUGH. Your right I haven't ever seen a top that has been chop on a blazer. I've always seen them with out a top. You want a top for those mud rain time's or even the winter just in case it has to be parked out side during the rain or snow.
friggin just cool
cool project. What I would love to see someone do a Blazer conversion on a 2007 or newer pickup/tahoe
The 73-75 tops are wider plus back window is obviously different hopefully the door glass works you're best bet would be cut down middle of roof long ways and narrow it
Looks great buddy
Looks rad.
The first sight of them so-called shoes killed it for me....
Just FYI on the side windows tempered glass can't be cut... cool project I've always loved those Blazers
So funny how may dogs are around - here a ruff, there a ruff 🙂
Badass 🤘
Already done. For sho. Com on man. Genius
Hey brother Casey, hope life’s being good to ya. Just a little stuff about me before I talk about what I’m here to talk to you about. I’m 6.2” tall, so little sports cars have been out of the picture for me from the start of my time driving, but I always dreamed of that two seater vehicle kinda feel. So my first car was a truck, and I really loved her. I owned her for 21 years. She was a 1967 C 10 SWB stepside to be exact. So I’ve always loved pickups way more than cars. I mean I do like Hot Rods, and muscle cars too. I’m an old F now at 64, but I still love a SWB single cab pickup. Just reminds me of where I come from. Ok all that said, I was really enjoying watching your series on your home made Blazer. I guess the likes weren’t big on that build, but man I’d sure like to see you get her finished. I thought about doing the body like that years ago, and just never took the time to make it happen, like you are. But I never considered bagging, and chopping one. Such a cool idea. I’d really like to see you do more on her, please?

Hey on a side note. I really like seeing you work with your dad. Mines gone now, and I really miss the time we did builds, and our time together. You should saver every hour you get to spend with him. Oh and he seems like a very cool dude, BTW.
Love the shoes :-)
Casey, when y'all are about done on the blazer roof, add some clearance lights to it! Those would look so frickin' cool on it! With it sitting on the ground, and the old school lights are on, it'll be SAA-WEEEET! Use the old type light bulbs for them. Those L E D bulbs are way, way too bright!
