Unfortuneatly with that exhuast manifold ull never have proper boost control. Bigger wastegate & a low psi spring & it will still spike like mad.

Yeah those China spec manifolds have the dumbest design with where they put the gate port! Never had an issue with spiking like this on a 25 before though guess the 30 just pushes that much more air

@@stack3dit yea mate the wastegate cant do its job when its positioned in the opposite direction to gas flow, in my experience they are ok on an RB20 but anything larger & you cant escape boost spiking, even with a decent manifold u need a 44mm wastegate minimum with an rb30.

reminds me when i plumbed my boost controller backwards on the 1jz 30psi dosage woopsi

wifi jack stands? where do i get them! did old mate say 60 psi for base pressure on the reg?? if so that's a bit high should be around the 42 43 area unless its been tuned at 60psi base pressure. don't forget to clamp the reference when setting the base fuel pressure on the reg.
