    There are 4 bolts that come loose behind the steering wheel that cause the wheel to tilt when you pull it, like it does at 10:20 Install some thread locker and tighten them down and it will fix it. Common 3rd Gen problem. (like so they can see please)

  • @hydrocarbon8272

    @hydrocarbon8272

    Another fix would be to add an IAC motor (that bolts to a flange like Honda/etc) that the Holley can run or just a needle bleed valve for a very fine idle adjustment. Similar to drilling a hole in the throttle plate, but reversible not as ugly.

    It's not the column mount bolts, it's a tilt column with a busted pivot pin. I can tell by the way the wheel is being pushed back up under spring pressure. That problem is so common I used to keep a couple in my toolbox in the 80s and 90s.

    Hey. I hope you guys read this. Have Profab or a local shop machine a restrictor plate to go between the blower and that intake. Make it so it only has like a 50-70mm hole so it can tune easier like a normal engine and still has that roudy look of the 3 way throttle body. Make it out of aluminum and like 1/8 inch thick and you'd never know. Then you can floor it and really open the flaps for a cool look.

    Brings back memories. Had an '84 Z28, black, t-top, built it from the ground up and started driving it at 16. Only difference is mine had Eagle Alloy wheels that looked like ninja stars but they were also polished aluminum. 355, .501 cam, gear driven, 3.11, turbo-350 with Hurst ratchet shifter. Those were the days. Fastest car at school. One kid had a home-built turbo Talon that could get me if we started at a roll but I got him every time from the line (the light at the exit of our school). I miss those days. No worries, all fun.

    Artem Levin they aren’t even done with it like the steering was stiff and the seat too foreword and that rumbling isn’t good, when it’s finally fixed it should sound like it’s going to break every window and turn every car alarm on. They need professional help

    I absoloutely love it brother. My dad was waiting to see this all finished. We lost him unfortunately last week. He would have a smile from ear to ear hearing that rumble. Was a huge American muscle fan. #blowerlife #toast #1250hp

    That sucks man, sorry to hear it. I lost my dad back in high school(many many moons ago). The pain of the loss is unfortunately just part of the love. Glad to hear that you had something as cool as cars to bond over. A "toast" to Kenny's dad. Better days brother.

    Harbor Freight ratchet. Funny, I have the same one handy all the time. Usually gets oil change duty. Got it used and broken. Took it apart and fixed it with no parts needed. Pawl shifted. Over torqued. Great car, Mad Max x/10.
