Honestly unbelievable how Mr JWW doesnt have a few million subscribers already. His videos are a piece of art, they're directed and edited beautifully. The "This is why we drive" channel trailer video, even though its years old now, I use it to refer to my non-car people friends why I love cars. James you make amazing videos, I love watching each and every single one.

That’s because Mr Walker doesn’t always tell his valued viewers the total truth, particularly in relation to vehicle ownership. The more you are truthful with people in life, the more you will grow organically. Hence the followers are extremely low compared to the majority of fellow so called ‘influencers’. Truth prevails.

3:08 You said the 3.8 was bored out to 4.0L, but that is incorrect. The bore stayed exactly the same, but they used a different crankshaft (from the RSR) to increase the stroke of the engine.

@@MGRracing if you could get the flange gasket modulating sprog pins to adopt a sprightly spratt. Then with a prearranged socket spin then it’s possible. I hope that helps

One of James’ best videos- I come back to watch it regularly- key point he makes about how it’s harder to enjoy a super car on the roads these days - making a manual transmission essential for true enjoyment. Personally my skills on the track have yet to reach a level where a pdk would make a difference. Meanwhile, with the majority of my time in my gt3 (and a Subaru STI as my daily) I find the manual maxes the enjoyment

Engagement. You hit the nail on the head, at the end James (10:20). Where even some hypercars miss the mark these days, is the lack of driver engagement. That opening/closing music too! Fantastic video - thanks so much!

As a massive Porsche fan I was lucky enough to drive a GT3RS 4L at Silverstone track nearly 10 years ago - bucket list day

@@markvserik 443 white, 131 black, 39 PTS. Interior was black or black with red, full leather or leather / alcantara mix. Couple of options for wheel colour too. Some of the PTS colours are err...questionable!

What a machine! I once drove a 997.1 with the 3.6 and I thought that was already spectacular. If you're taking requests - how about some in-car, forward facing footage of a good fang up a mountain pass, or something along those lines? Can't get enough of it - thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the great video! I am very blessed to own a 997.2 GT3RS 3.8. I think my car is absolutely amazing. Out of all of the cars that I own, it is sharing the number one spot with the Scuderia. It is truly unfathomable for me to imagine what the 997.2 4.0 RS feels like.

Today I got to work on one of these for some audio work. I stumbled across your video and the review on the car It’s so well put. But to this day, my favourite review of yours is the F12 novitec that exhaust note to this day is the closest I’ve heard on the road Car to a true F1 engine sound

Hi James, I remember telling you this is as good as it gets for a pure unassisted drivers car! My personal favourite would be the 3.8 as a less fussy design and a little rev happier engine, needing you to work it a little harder to get the very best out of it. Nonetheless congratulations with your purchase of what will surely go down in history as “GOAT Drivers Car” Mate!

for as much as i adore the 997 (having loved my own 987 boxster S previously), it would be a 991.2 GT3 RS for me. Having driven one on track extensively, it's just a more mature feeling vehicle. Yes it's less desirable, yes its less rare, but its still the technically better car.

Brilliant video Mr JWW. I can’t wait for more of these drives. Can you do a back to back comparison with your 991.2 manual GT3?
