Oh , I love it 😮 I was hoping to be good but this is actually brilliant! The rotation of the cars , the rubber feeling of the tires and the smooth FFB is all I needed to feel in the other sims!

@@NARSteve BMW M4 Class 1 - a free car from Studio 397, done in close cooperation with BMW who supplied the data of this car, which ended up not being built when DTM moved to GT3 cars, due to the cost of Class 1 no longer being sustainable for the manufacturers.

rfactor 2 gets a lot of hate but it's still by far my favourite sim ever. Over 2000 hours in it and the driving feel still amazes me. Hope to see you on LFM one day!

I think the hate is is coming from the online multiplayer instability mainly but the driving is on the next level 😃 Absolutely insane 💪

rFactor 2 is king of sim racing games imho Official GT3 pack and official tracks are awesome! FFB, physics, weather-engine and sound is top notch.

So glad you have embraced RF2. The driving experience is so raw and engaging, whenever I do LFM races online its always so memorable, especially in the first season with weather changes. But its not for the faint of heart, you have to be on your a game, its a hard sim but that's why I like it so much.

Im genuinely excited to see you using rfactor 2. It's a fantastic sim. More like this please!

For me as a pure Sim, rFactor 2 is the best. The online component is not, give that to iRacing...but as a Sim it is the best. GTEs, GTs, LMPs, BTCC cars are the best in the market. Hans down. Also give it a try to Automobilista, the Mini Cup cars, Extreme Stock Cars, and Copa Petrobras are incredible up to this day, and the physics + FFB combo is one of the best if not the best in the entire market up until today. PS: Been doing some races with the BTCC cars in Brands Hatch (short version), Porsche Cup in Spa, Donington Park, Bahrain, Sebring...and then some combined races with GT, GTE, Hypercars and LMPs in LeMans and Nürbugring...pure fun. Can't get enough of rF2. PS2: rFactor 2 got incredible content in the past couple years, laser scan tracks, licensed cars, performance improvements and graphical improvements as well. The dynamic aspect of it is unmatched when it comes to RealRoad, Wet surfaces with rain effects and temps, etc. Try Brands Hatch with dynamic weather going from wet to dry and wet again and you'll have a heck of an experience. PS3: I love to mess around with mods in Assetto Corsa (I even own paid mods as well) but when I really want to race, I go to rFactor 2. ;)

Man quite cool to see this. I just got into RF2 with LFM and holy shit, the feeling is just amazing. This DTM is awrsome, the BTCCs are on another level though (RWD and FWD). Keep enjoying man!!

RF2 is the best sim i've every tried. Driving the BTCC's is amazing. Too bad there's so low participation on LFM. I heard rumours of them making it possible to drive without owning every car, so let's hope that happens because i would LOVE to make RF2 my daily sim.

More rFactor2 content please , try the front wheel drive cars , FFB is the best out there, the tire model is very good , share some of your settings in game and steering wheel if you may, for some wheel like the Moza R9 you need to change an ini file so that the sim knows you have 9nm , if any of you are struggling just search "moza r9 rFactor2" and you'll be assisted 💯

Recent paid content track and cars are incedible, btcc, endurance pack, indycar, and a lot of quality free content. 4 me rf2 is the sim who give me the best feeling, cqn’t imagine in VR ❤

What a lovely sim and great driving

RF2 is where you feel you are part of the car. Love other sims but keep going back to RF2 tbh more than i expect because of that great feeling. LFM helped attracting more people which is a huge bonus.

I'm at about 3k myself (15.5k since adding it to RF2, but I owned it for YEARS before that)

Just a few weeks ago i got into rf2 myself, and couldnt go back to anything else since. That real safety car with fcy is just too cool, and the full collision in formation lap/pit lane with no assists is really something im missing in other sims. Only 3 things really need improvement in my opinion: 1 - it needs a lot of fixes, as it can be pretty broken wich is relatively inexcusable for a 10 year old game (see Star citizen lol). At least afaik the wonky ai will get updated soon and wont crash as much. 2 - better online system (wich is already coming of course) 3 - newer cars, not as important as other things, but wether youre a small dev team or not you are competing with the big names here. Lack of cars and tracks (even with mods) is a big reason rf2 cant be the "only" sim to play, at least for me. But still, very underrated and very amazing sim with great potential even so long after its release

hi, i'm an italian driver, and thanks to you i chose alpha ultimate! i have yet to try. I run on RF2 and now I have a fanatec csw2.5 belt driven steering wheel waiting for simagic. I first ran Acc then tried RF2 and was hooked. incredible sensations as you explained. some crash problems but the sensations it gives you are unique. I hope alpha ultimate arrives soon. your reviews are great! HI

I still have lot to explore but this car and the M4 gt3 felt incredible to me! Like the perfect setup on iRacing I can never tune with so much rotation into the corner entry under trial braking and acceleration on the exit 😮

Honestly the best sim racing KZreadr out there, was subscribed to so many but narrowed it down to 3 now including yours RBM! I always have fun playing Assetto Corsa Shutoko Revival Project. What a great setup! It's compensating the only graphic quirk that i miss on rFacto2 compared to ACC on AMS2, and that's moving cockpit parts. So instead of asking devs, to upgrade this, I should build look at my rig first;)

I am very happy that you try my favorite sim! I must say you are illegal as far as you go fast on first contact with rfactor 2

I spent my entire day in it driving different tracks and I have to admit , from row driving experience is the best sim I ever tested 😮 Tire behavior is incredibly realistic and feels just like slick ! I love that BMW M4 Class 1 car. Glad you finally discovered rF2. Nothing else gives that same feeling of being on track. It's really weird how many people stick to only ACC and iRacing and are obvlivious. Such as Boosted Media who will review all the very best DD wheels, but then not compare in the best sim. It's interesting to see how other games work, but just as Simucube is the benchmark for DD wheels, rFactor 2 is the benchmark for sim physics.

I wish I could try rF2. But the game is nothing but trouble for me. My old pc was to weak for it. Finally upgraded, also upgraded to a t300 with t-lcm and th8a and now the game won't recognize any of my gear. But good to see you have fun on it! Love your content!

rf2 is amazing to drive. What it lacks in graphics and ease of use/setup it makes up for it with the way it feels to drive. I so wish it was more popular and had the main issues fixed. It would be my main sim over iRacing anyday. I come back to rf2 every few months to just hot lap and feel the way the car feels. Then going back to iRacing feels like Im driving with toy wheel. Such a shame the game has so many issues because to me, it is the best driving experience from any sim out there. Great video! Enjoy the amazing driving experience of rf2!

The formula 1 1980's-90's mod cars and track series is sublime for RF2.

ISI who made rFactor made one of my all time fav games, Sportscar GT! Played that game so much, then they made the F1 2000, F1 2001 and then the total masterpiece F1 99-02, which I still think is the best F1 sim. Have not tried rFactor2, but I will since ive heard a lot of praise for it :) edit : loL! I thought you were driving in VR and I thought the interiour looked realistic as hell haha :D now I see you have a actioncam on you :) cool!.

this is the funnest sim lap at nords i’ve ever watched. i wish somebody would package the rf2 physics engine into something newer with a functional UI. the work it takes to set up is SO worth it because the driving can be amazing, but damn it would be nice to just pick a car and go

Hard choice but honestly, I drive Simagic Ultimate, Moza R21 and Simucube2 pro and they have there own signature but very very small differences in feelings! From driving point of view you won’t get nothing more or less no matter which way you go !

I am so happy you finally did this. I never knew why exactly you don't have any RF2 content so I never even suggested it to you. I thought you are open-minded person enough to give it a shot, and you did it out of the blue. I'm glad you like it. In RF2 you feel one with the car and connected to the road, you feel each tire and what they are doing better than in any other sim as far as I know. Day and night transitions are very good too. I hope you are excited to try everything out and maybe do some more content on it. Great to see RF2 in your rig!

I have to say the graphics are really good only for latest DLC cars and tracks. In VR beats most other games for me. Especially during sunrise and rain.

I played a bit with reshade and oh boy, now I realize all the details! I take my words back about the graphics being outdated! They are actually really good just the picture is washed out and little contrast make all the difference 😮

Talking to caméras, i love to take one and just fly over parts of different tracks, the détails and life are incerdible

i'm on iracing for the online but my love is for rf2, and i find beautiful his graphic

I just installed reshade and after few tweaks it became absolutely on pair with the new sims out there 😮 I’m taking my words back as those graphics are really good indeed 😃

Eh @Race Beyond Matter. Did you know some of the Major Race teams even F1 driving teams use a version of RFactor in their Pro Sim Rigs. It is a tool called Rfactor Pro. It is mainly just a rendering engine to draw the tracks and car models. The rest of their software is done in house.

Yes buddy, I’ve heard that few times in the past ! Nevertheless, I seat today some hours testing different tracks and can honestly admit this is the best driving experience I ever had in sim ! The tires feels just like the real slick 😮 I can’t believe I missed that for so long time 🙈

@@chepilevski Glad you enjoyed it. The core problem with Rfactor is Online racing with it. Servers are hosted my groups. so some races are amazing and others are shit. All depends on the server .

Finally! rFactor 2 is the best Sim Racing IMO nowadays in physics and tire model perspective. I just wish it had more people and better online mode with matchmaking system.

They are working on an all new multiplayer system called RaceControl. Its in alpha testing right now.

rF2: I have more than twice the hours on it than on ACC, RRR & AMS2 combined. Congrats, you are the FIRST major YT sim racing fan who does not bash rF2 for it's UI. Yes, the graphics could be better and blah-blah-blah. Other sims have their issues as well, but there was a concerted effort by some YT reviewers to bring rF2 down at any cost. It was so obvious...at any rate: Get a car to your liking and try (you have to!!!) Mugello & Road Atlanta. You're gonna love it. Cheers.

I guess people mostly complain wen have to learn something new! In my opinion is not more complex then the rest of the field and I had more difficulty with AMS2 setting it first time then rF Graphics are actually really good after putting the reshade and tweak bit the black level and contrast! Absolutely on pair with the best out there ! The problem was the washed picture but fixing that issue turned insanely good! I take my words back about that statement for sure 😃 The physics are the best I ever felt from any sim! Tires feels just like real slick 🫢 What an experience to drive this sim man, I’m in love 🤗

Wow, I didn't realize you had never driven rF2! I just figured you were another hater haha. Glad you are enjoying it! I don't think the graphics are bad myself and S397 has improved them a ton in the last couple of years. Hopefully you're using the DLC tracks, they are quite well done. To folks stumbling in here that are new or thinking about trying rF2, S397 is working on a revamped multiplayer system called RaceControl that is starting alpha testing shortly. Sounds like it will be a significant revamp.

Those are some great news to hear about the online racing and about the graphics, I installed reshade and pulled up the black levels which makes huge difference and fixed that washed picture and now I can finally enjoy the graphics! From the last weekend I drive every day this sim and trying to explore as much as I can and honestly I’m falling in love with the driving experience 😃

I aspire to have a sim rig as detailed as this; however, I would go more of a street car route. The plan is to have a basement (that you can enter from the garage, not trying to carry the damn thing down the stairs! Haha) big enough to fit a junkyard cavalier or something.

Rfactor2 is amazing, you should try adding head physics and see what you think, great drive, I hope you drive more Rfactor 👍👍🥃

@@chepilevski , Awesome I can’t wait to see your next video in Rfactor2 keep in mind that if you race against AI, run at least a half hour practice session before you race them because the AI Learns how to drive the track every time. All the best mate 👍👍

@@chepilevski simagic alpha mini, with the mclaren gt3 and srm conversion with magnetic shifters. my setup is nowhere near as good as your though
