It looks very beautiful in real life. Go see in person. Remember Mitsubishi designs are functional vs pretty looking but this new Triton is both design function and god damn beautiful

We have different vision perspective, if you don't like the design don't say negative words coz you're not force to buy it. For me, it's a bold,unique design.

Great improvement over the previous model though, the front end needs to be reviewed if you think about what's selling more for example , the Hilux and the Rangers front ends are a lot nicer to look at and don't look like something out of a kitchen having too much plastic. If many people think; why don't Mitsubishi listen?

​@@ericm4426 Having the 2017 model GLS I absolutely love it in manual form and thought they might have gone toward the wider tougher looking front that seems to be selling in this category. Yes, Mitsubishi have definitely improved in every way with extending the wheelbase to match the rest of the market ;even though it's probably a Navara's design, It will work in its favour for sales and towing and loading up in the tray. I'm not knocking the rest of the car just that front end looks like it's just a real quick basic rounded front end that doesn't really appeal to a lot of people that are looking or buying these utes these days.

They really need to simplify their design choice ( beside these, the xforce seems to have a decent look imo).

That's interesting how most people agree with the front end look and wonder why Mitsubishi thinks that this is going to help sell the Ute. If anything it will stop many people from buying it ! Having the previous model I was really hoping for a more American tougher look to keep up with competition😞. Enough of the dynamic shield design , it's old now and no one really wants it!

Yes there will be two engine choices, but the twin turbo will be for the top end trim only

still not sure with the front grille design. looks too busy and old.

They said none and it was a purely Mitsubishi Motors developed pickup truck. We can’t say much because the drive was very brief. This is not a review.

The gauge cluster, head unit, and some of the interior trims are clearly taken from the Nissan parts bin. However mechanically, it's all Mitsubishi with the 4N16 engine, Super Select II transfer case, Aisin 6speed auto, etc. It is rumored that the next generation Navara will use these exact same mechanicals.

I'm just happy that with the merge of the two companies it's mainly Mitsubishi driving the design we didn't want to lose the super select 2 and go to a basic Nissan 4wd system!
